Good fit and finish

For the price these are a nice stool. Pretty comfy. We will see how they hold up over time.

Hard to find height - 32 “ - extra tall and sturdy

We had a difficult time finding the height that we needed for our newly renovated kitchen. These were extra tall 32”, made from solid wood. We were so surprised at the quality for the price. We paid 90.00 for 2 barstools. I wanted something with a back but I couldn’t find this height for less than 300.00 plus- and didn’t really like what I was finding. So when I found these that are solid wood, easy enough to assemble and very sturdy, I was Very pleased!

Good for the money

The seats could've had more support but these are good for the price. They look good. They're strong except the seats. I don't weigh a lot so the seats are sufficient for my size.

False Advertizing!

The spec page on this shows a rating of 275 lbs! As you can see from the pictures of the assy procedures and the data tags on the bottom of the chair this is BS! Very misleading and false. I decided to keep them anyway. I don't expect adults to be sitting on them and honestly they are fairly sturdy. They are the exact height, style, and match my mission style furniture very well. I think most complaints come from people who don't assemble them correctly. The screws that go into the support pieces are not designed to pull the supports into the legs. They need to be tight against the leg when installing and snugging up the screws but there is no way they side supports would hold up to an adult putting their weight against it. They are fine for the light use they will see but anything more you are better spending your money on something better.

Sturdy, easy to put together.

We have been looking for some bar stools. Looked around and prices vary, but this seem about right. I am not a carpenter but it was pretty easy to assemble. It had 2 screws on each side of each leg (8) all together. Then you screwed in the leg supports. Boom. Done in about 30 min with 2 chairs, they look great and passed the sturdiness test and sit/comfort test. So i am happy and seems like a real keeper.

Very tall seats and they smell

Although I like the look of these stools, they seem higher than bar height and have a terrible smell. I’ve wiped them down several times to try and get rid of the odor. I probably wouldn’t have bought them had I seen them in person.

Good looking, but ca n bw much sturdier and more durable with one small upgrade.

The stools look like the picture. The only problem is the cheap hardware. The pocket screws will break when you try to tighten up the joints. The solution is to take a screw to your hardware store and ask for 8 STEEL pocket screw replacements with Robertson heads. Then just torque the joints closed by hand and enjoy the extra strength and sturdiness.

Solid!

This stool is perfect - very easy to assemble; and very sturdy. Beware tho, it is very high - perfect for a tiered island, but too tall for a "one level" island... Perfect for a stool independent of counters.
