Decent, but not quite as shown.
First thing you should note is the image is just a concept rendering, not an image of the actual bridge. The image shown shows simulated snow on the roof and the description calls this out as well. However the bridge arrives with a plain grey roof. The Lionel website shows an image that more closely reflects what the roof looks like, it also does not call out the simulated snow effect. I also have included the image from their site as part of this review. The image also shows a very large number of lights around the roof, there are nowhere near as many as it shows, far far fewer, there are 8 across each end and 10 down each side. The only other issue I have is where the wiring comes from. It dangles down on the inside in the center of the bridge. This requires the fiddly process of taping it up to the inside out of the way of the train. You also have the issue with the bridge having a floor in it, requiring you also have to run wiring along the inside edge and out the corner of one of the tunnel ends. There should be a 3/8" hole in the floor in the middle of one side against the inner wall and a small notch in the wall to allow you to run the wire out of the side to be plugged into the accessory jack. All of that said once I got it setup it isn't too bad, I would have liked the simulated snow effect however. After the holiday is over I'll probably alter it and add a hole to the floor and find a neat way of permanently attach the wiring inside the roof and wall, I may even create some simulated snow on the roof myself. I'm not sure it is worth the full $70 price, but if you can get it on sale for a few bucks off and spend some time getting the wiring sorted out it doesn't look too bad.

Love
First it looks amazing. Second it not only lights up on the outside it lights up on the inside as well. Third it is big and the electric train we have goes through it nicely. We did have to remove the Christmas trees from the train and ad presents because the trees were too tall. But overall, it is amazing. It is totally worth the money!

A lot bigger than anticipated
I can’t say I was super impressed with this purchase. I was looking for a tunnel to incorporate into my Christmas train set up and thought this would be perfect! I was shocked by the actual size. Not super impressed with the plug and play aspect either. Obviously you need a piece of track to plug this into and I don’t have one of those on my current layout. So spending $70+ on the tunnel and having to buy a $40+ piece of track to operate it lead me to return. The “snowy roof” leaves a lot to be desired too. It’s just a flat white, and in most lighting, just looks like a plain roof. Construction seemed good though from my inspection. Just not at all what I was anticipating just by the description.

USEFUL INFORMATION
They must have addressed some complaints. I got my bridge today, it's hooked up and looking great under the christmas tree. On mine there IS snow on the roof and it's lighted inside as well. The wire complaint that some people have is also addressed. It is now zip-tied to the wall of the bridge inside so it's not in the way. Also on mine they wired on a pigtail with a special plug that is supposed to plug into something, i'm assuming on newer "lion chief" train sets, my train is "pre lion chief", "Lionel Holiday Tradition Special". Instead of buying the part it plugs into, I cut the pigtail off, crimped on 2 female micro blade connectors from the local hardware/automotive store, and hooked it up directly to the blades on the bottom of my "fastrack", very simple, took 2 minutes. Only complaint is, the walls are thin, so the light inside sort of illuminates the walls and roof a bit, if you don't like that you can line the inside with a piece of cardboard or something. Overall, i'm happy with my purchase, as are my children.

Super Duper and perfect addition to any layout
MUCH NEEDED AND AWESOME ILLUMINATION INSIDE and OUTSIDE. I only wished the lights flash that woulda been really cooler. Nonetheless it’s a great piece and well worth the money.

Love this bridge!
After reading all the mixed reviews, I was leery about purchasing this bridge. Glad I did. Plenty of lights and a snow covered roof! It’s perfect for our Christmas train display.
