Great brush for base coats, but poorly constructed

The media could not be loaded. As a professional artist, I love the size and delicacy of this brush. It’s great with lighter paints/ink/watercolor or to use as a base coat brush to save time or creating giant streaks of acrylic paint! It’s easy to clean but these brushes are poorly constructed... I think they didn’t use strong enough glue to hold the metal part of the brush to its handle. If the metal part gets dipped into water, over time this brush easily came apart. I had to glue it back together. Enjoy making those big brush marks, artists!

Liquitex Broad Brush

Purchased this brush because I didnt have one of these in my brush collection. But I knew that I should find and purchase one soon. Was happy to see it on Amazon. This is an excellent quality brush and was well worth the cost.

Not that great for varnishing

I purchased this because i was looking for a soft bristle/wide brush that would easily apply varnish to a large painting and the reviews were great and mentioned soft bristles. Although they are soft, I personally would not recommend this brush for varnishing unless you want brushstroke texture in your coat of varnish...it will definitely be a great brush for applying paint.

I have this brush for about 2 months and in ...

I have this brush for about 2 months and in that time about a third (not joking) bristles have fallen out ime an amateur artist so I dont paint all the time so the use has been moderate. Dont touch them

Pensé que al ser de liquitex y tener este precio,nada barato,sería una herramienta imprescindible,cual es mi sorpresa al ver que no para de soltar y soltar pelos arruinando mi trabajo,no volveré a comprar más brochas de esta marca.
