Kinda glitchy

There isn't a turn down button it's one volume. It comes with batteries but they didn't work had to change them out, it glitches over some of the words and stops at the number 6 when on the counting cycle. Only glitches and repaets colors once in a while. I do like that u twist to switch between choices that's handy. Over all my baby loved it for his first birthday

Not sure if i got a defective one?

As a kid my little sister had a noise hammer and when I had my baby I knew he needed one too and found this gem. It counts to 10, it has colors that light up as it says it. And of course the silly sounds! Where you pound is cushioned ! Safe for your furniture that "needs fixed". When it came it would get stuck and repeat the beginning of the first word (for example if it was trying to day blue, it would say "bl" every time you hit it and shut off. So I switched the batteries and it seemed to work ok for a while, but then continued to shut off mid word. Switched the batteries again and it didn't even work for a little while. So now its just a cushioned hammer for the most part. If reading my review please also consider maybe my kiddo bonked it on stuff one too many times too hard. Or maybe I received a defective one that I have not looked into at all. Overall it really is a wonderful toy and hope others didnt experience what we have with ours :)

Made tough

I actually bought this because my son kept breaking all the other toy hammers I bought him that belonged to actual kids took sets. It’s very durable. I gave 4 instead of 5 stars, because the shipping must have been super rough. It looked a bit scuffed up and the batteries were just about dead when I got it.

The batteries may drain too fast

Not sure if the batteries run out so quickly or we received a defective toy but only when it has new batteries is it able to be used on the colors setting other than that my baby loves it. It has a few other settings that just make sounds and count numbers.

Ad as New NOT NEW

This is advertised as a new item but is clearly not new. The batteries were dead. The paint is chipped off the writing on the Little Tikes. Has markings that indicate it’s clearly a used product. They sell new @ Walmart $22.

Seems fun…but sent with dead batteries.

Seems to be working now that we replaced the batteries upon arrival. Shipped with dead batteries…. We will see how it holds up…if quality control can’t get working batteries, curious to see how long it actually lasts.

Didn't make all the sounds it was supposed to

It only made one sound and not all the sounds it was supposed to when you twist the handle.

Arrived dirty, scuffed, and won't work.

My 4 year old chose this as a gift for her sister. Fun! It does not work. It's scuffed and dirty. She was so sad! If you want quality do not buy this toy.

I should have read the bad reviews for this product more carefully before purchasing. The range of numbers and sounds was nothing like the ones listed on the product details. There seems to be a serious quality issue here and to say I am unimpressed is an understatement.

Worked great initially

Cute product but its only been a couple months of normal use and the songs are not all working properly despite efforts to make it work again
