Great refit for older boat overhead lights

Awesome replacement for the original cockpit overhead lights on our boat. We already had blue courtesy lights and underwater lights. These put out more light than you think. Our cockpit is now a symphony in blue. The thin format ensures you don't need a big overhead cutout to install. What I did not like is the Amazon setup to select the product. I believe I ordered the White Dimming / Blue and Red non dimming. My order shows this in one location. The invoice shows the white/red/blue/purple non-dimming. Since I wanted the blue, and they were the same price, I just installed them anyway. If you want a particular model, double check that you order and then get the right color combination.

Great LED lights, bright and crisp colors.

I bought 6 of these lights to replace the original halogen lights in the cockpit and console area of our sport fish. I was a little hesitant on how bright they would be compared to the halogen(which got hot enough to burn you if touched). The first night I was able to use them(show them off) I was astonished on how bright and crisp the light was, they are brighter than the halogens and the colors look amazing! The only thing that could be better is if they were the standard size and you didn't have to order the adapter separately.

Check Dim Feature

I ordered model 112508 which a Orbit lamp with white, red and blue colors. The product review states red at minimum setting is perfect for marine applications. However, this item will only dim in the white mode. The red and blue do not dim and are way too bright for use on a boat, wipes out your night vision. I had to return original lights and reorder. The light itself is a great product, but it needs to have the dim feature for all colors for marine applications.

WOW, what amazing lights. If you have an older boat with factory lighting this will be an excellent replacement. They are BRIGHT and easy to install. I replaced 5 lights in my cockpit area on my Sea Ray and it truly looks incredible compared to the old festoon bulbs. A little pricey, but worth it if you have lighting issues.

Great light in a small size

Great light in a small size. Love the ability to switch between white, blue & red. Mounted one in the bottom of my electronics box and the other in my son's boat. Really looked good with the retrofit bracket. A great addition and provides plenty of light.
