You might have to trim it using a hacksaw

Had to trim it but it works like a charm be sure to use caulking for proper installation

Works well, the inside of the door is a lot drier after the installation.

I was looking for a drip cap to shed water over the exterior joint between the door and the aluminum/rubber weather strip seal installed on a wooden door sill. Initially i had no real use for the sweep on this product but then decided to leave it on as it hung just low enough fit between the other rubber seal and door and tighten up the weather seal even more. Installed on the exterior side of a door that opens inwards.

Install is quick and didn't require door removal

Install didn't require removing the door which was nice because it was rainy out. Was having issues with exterior door where the land is graded towards door and the threshold isn't particularly tall. In the summer I'll likely address the threshold issue but with it being wet out I don't want to dig into it now. The door previously had no sweep. My theory was rain was hitting the door then blowing underneath and onto the wooden floor. So far this door sweep appears to have done the trick. I wipe dry the area and checked the next morning and there was no dampness. The metal drip cap gets the water running off and away from bottom of the door while the vinyl hangs down past the top of the threshold.

Good product.

This is a good product. It has helped in situations that didn’t have any other solutions. However, i wish there were more options. I wish this were the smallest of three depths. I would have purchased the large, If it existed. Also, a plastic, stick-on options would have been nice. Hack saw work is always best avoided.

I used to get rain leaking into my garage from the side door. Basically, the rain would hit the door, drip down and pool at the base of the door where it would eventually find a small hole to enter even though I had a good bottom seal on it. This product, when properly trimmed to fit and installed, pushes the water away from the door about an inch or so above the bottom so that it never has a chance to find its way in.

Quality domestic product that installs on door exterior and works well sealing out drafts

Beware, not for all doors

Product is well made. However, for inward openeing doors, it will not work if the sill right under the door is not flat. If the rear part is higher than the front, the aluminium part will get caught in it. So could not use it.

The product that I received seems used. There are scratches, especially the left side of the rain drip. Screws are also missing in the package. The product should be able to protect the door bottom from rain, but I couldn't install it without the screws.
