Great Toy

Great toy for learning to count and learning colors. I’m a former teacher and see so many uses for this to help your toddler learn! I suggest adult supervision for younger toddlers who may put items in their mouth.

Great for colors,counting,patterns. Great quality super cute

I spent a lot of time looking for manipulatives for my children. I decided to purchase the Baby Bear Sorting Set because they are all cute, it comes with the matching bowls, and you get quite a few bears. Both my 8 year old and 4 year old use this. The oldest uses them for game tokens, working through a math problem, or just to play. Youngest loves sorting these and counting. We have just started to add and subtract using this set. And she loves to just play with them. I wish it would have had a different way to store them, although not sure what. Right now I just keep them in the box it came in. Not a biggie though. Homeschooling does not leave a lot of extra money, so I have to be careful what products I buy. I do not regret this purchase and see these being used for years to come. I could see some getting lost if I'm not on top of keeping track or limiting how many are used at a time because they are small, which is only a problem with my little one. I love that there are so many colors and that it all matches. Because these are such a hit, I am buying few sets for gifts for family.

Fun manipulative

I was looking for something to help my two and half yr old twins with their colors. To learn names of colors and to learn how to sort. I am disappointed with the color of the orange bears because the ones in this set don't match the orange colored bowl. The orange bears look too close to the red bears to make a real distinction between them without having them basically touching each other and even then it is not easy to tell the difference. Needless to say, we don't use the orange bears. The nice thing is you can use little cars or beads or anything else fun for your little one to sort into the bowls! Hope this helps.

Excellent Learning Tool

We got this for our 2 1/2 yr old son after his speech therapist said sorting was the best way to teach colors. It's been great! He loves sorting them, and he's even saying the colors now! We've even used them to help my 6 yr old with her math homework. My only complaint is that the shade of orange and red are too similar, and it often confuses my son, especially if he's playing with it in a dimmer part of the room. All in all, it's an incredible learning tool that I see my family using for years to come.

Handy Dandy Counting Bears

These are traditional counting bears in 6 different colors, with corresponding bowls, that can be used for play as well as to teach basic math skills. Younger children can sort the bears by color or number, and older children can use them to help work on addition/subtraction, multiplication/division, etc. We have really enjoyed these bears. My only complaint, is that the set comes with 17 bears of each color (102 total), which is kind of an odd number - why not make it 20 of each?

Love the bears!

The bears and shallow bowls are a good size for my not quite two year old to handle. The orange and red are very similar in color, not as obvious a difference as the stock photo. Overall, I'm glad I made this purchase and would recommend this item to others. My reason for the four stars in because of the orange/red colors, however my daughter has no problem differentiating the two.

Excellent Toy

These are good quality and a great product. The bears are smooth (unlike cheap reproductions that I have read about). The red and orange are very close in color. When my grandson was 18 months old, we removed the orange times to reduce confusion. Now that he is over 2, we use all the colors. He has used these for way more than sorting! He puts them to bed, he puts them in containers and just generally has fun with them.

También es recomendable comprar unas pinzas de learning resources, hay un juego con varios tipos en un set y otra que son solo de tipo lagarto que es justo la que sale en la foto y la más compatible para sacar cosas de los frascos. promueve el desarrollo de coordinación motriz fina. El ruido de los ositos en el frasco le encanta a mi hija, le da vuelta y grita a comer!!
