Pretty, a bit pricey?

I absolutely love this piece, I love this style of wall art. I similar all over my house, but I am a bargain hunter for pieces like this and we have a Kirklands store and I feel like you could find this piece there for much less. That's all I will say about that. Otherwise, build quality is good and I don't mind the hooks on the back to hang, they are a bit tricky but I was able to get it up and level myself. It's a good size and really makes a statement in the room. You can't go wrong with pieces like this. I'm just not convinced on the price for what you're getting.

Gorgeous decor piece

The “carved fretwork design” (as noted in the Amazon bullets) in the solid wood panel has a neutral, elegant look that fits most rooms and wall colors. Our friend said it definitely added some spark to her bathroom.

Exacly as pictured

I have put this over my headboard lengthwise and it looks great! The only thing I don't like is that all these wall art companies put those triangle hooks on each side which makes it difficult to hang level. Ugh. This is no different. They have got to stop using those and start putting the flat ones with the teeth so you can just use one tine picture hanger and level it easily. That's why I took off a star. Otherwise, it's lightweight and looks just like the picture. I ended up hanging it with those 3M strips so I could use it lengthwise, and that worked well. Hopefully it doesn't fall on my head in the middle of the night LOL.

Wood accent piece adds interest to a wall

Madison Park Wall Art Wood Carving is made in China and ready to hang vertically. The raw wood has a dark brown stain around the frame and the inside carvings have an off white or light beige paint. I have it hanging in a bare corner and it really does make a nice accent piece. The suggestions for hanging are to avoid using picture wire and, instead, to use two piece standard picture hangers on each side. This does make for simple installation and quick hanging since the open design makes it easy to place it on the hangers. The hooks are placed so that it hangs vertically which works for me but there should be two sets of hooks to accommodate hanging it horizontally as is shown as an option on the product page. Madison Park Wall Art Wood Carving is a good choice for adding an area of interest to a wall.
