Holds photos, but doesn't even do that very well

It works as a picture frame would (as in, it holds photos), but the construction and quality are a bit shoddy. It's not very stable and I feel like the back/front threatens to fall out most of the time, which takes my photo out as well. The frame itself is not real wood, contrary to advertising, which was really disappointing because that made it feel very flimsy and cheap. There's probably some legal blahblahblah that still makes it legal to advertise it's wood (like 10% wood?) when it really is not. Since I was giving this to someone as gift I really didn't feel that this really made much of a gift, but decided not to return because of limited time to find something different.

Best for table-top, works on wall

Very nice quality frame, which is why I rated it five stars. I loved the swinging clasps on the back which made it super easy to insert a photograph and put it back together. I personally was looking for something that would hang on the wall. This has the proper tabs for hanging it, but the stand that is attached to the back (for table top setting) overlaps the edge of the frame when not in use, and makes the frame stick out a little from the wall. I tried to pull the stand off, but it is well-secured with rivets and pretty ribbon. I still think this is a great value. :)

Good frame for the money, only a couple of minor flaws.

The quality of the frame is very good for the money. The only things that bugged me (This was on the 11x14 frame) is that you have to hang it on the wall with 2 nails (the nail retainers are on the left and right, there isn't one in the center), and that if you intend to hang it on the wall, that easel sticks out from the bottom and right of the frame. I ended up cutting the easel off with scissors, but I wish there was a simpler cleaner way to remove the easel.

the frame itself was exactly what was advertised. however one of the bolts on the back stand wasn't bolted correctly, so it just pivoted, thereby rendering the stand useless.

Nice!

This is really a nice frame and it looks expensive. I used it for my bridal portrait on a table at my wedding and it looked very elegant. Happy with purchase and the price was great.

Picture Perfect

Very happy with this frame! It came well packaged- no damage! Love that it has an easel, so I can display the picture on a table.
