Loved it so much I bought another one for a loved one. This yoga mat will fulfill all your needs regardless of your yoga practice style or experience level. And from a brand you can trust. High quality construction and material that may outlast you.

No Slips means more motivation!
My old mat was unmotivating because I kept slipping which means I didn’t want to work out. I randomly bought this brand mat from the sporting good store and it turned out to be one of the best purchases I have made for my health: No SLIPS, STRONG GRIP, FIRM PADDING, EXTRA LONG. Who knew this what I was missing? After the new year I got my husband more into stretching and doing it safely on a mat so I gave him mine and decided to buy another one from the said store - I got whatever they had. MISTAKE. Suffice to say I took that thing right back and came here and ordered this brand - I will never go back! TIP: it does take a while to break in so give it a few weeks.

Love the texture and thickness!

Don’t love the stickiness or thickness
This Mat is much for thick and “sticky” than my other Manduka mat. I didn’t think the 2mm increase in thickness would make a difference but it definitely makes the mat much heavier. Which is only a problem if you plan on traveling or taking or may many places. The sticky material does not seem as durable as the other material that the makduka pro is made of. Overall still a good mat and may be good if extra cushioning is needed but not my favorite mat.

Love this mat!
This is by far the best yoga mat I have ever used. It has extra grip for those sweaty workouts and its lightweight making it easy to carry. Love the color and manufacturer. Makes my DDP Yoga workouts even better.

5-Star Mat
Ok wow. Just wow. What I love is the super grip ability of this mat. And in a weird way I like the smell. Call me strange. I also like the smell of gasoline. This is a nice, affordable option to the 2x higher priced Manduka Pro Mat. I do use a Yogi Toes towel across the top of the mat when I do hot vinyasa because I don’t Like my hands to slide around. I haven’t tried using the mat without this towel so I can’t comment on the grip ability during a hot yoga class (sorry). Great mat.

Not that thick
I feel it is too thin. I have another manduka yoga mat that is thicker and seems to be of better quality. I kept it, but I can still feel the hardness of the floor during certain poses.

Cut Off Center
The mat feels strong and durable - as advertised, it's soft but my feet and hands remain firmly planted and feel sturdy. It does not slip at all when on a hard floor. I got it for home use, but it doesn't roll up nearly as tight as a thinner mat - it might be unwieldy if you're walking or biking with it. My one gripe is that the mat is cut a bit diagonally - not a huge deal but for the price I would expect an exact rectangle.

Great Yoga Mat
I really like this mat. It's quite grippy for a regular yoga practice (probably not great for hot yoga). I've used it from new for a 30 day yoga practice before writing this review to give my most informed opinion. So far, it's great. I am quite picky about yoga mats and have gone through a couple in my days, and this one sits at the top with one other from Lululemon from about 15 years ago. It's got great, sturdy cushioning (good for my skiers knees, no discomfort) and grips well for my practice. I will say, when my hands and feet get clammy the grip does diminish slightly, which is why I don't think it would be good for hot yoga. If your looking for a grippy, sturdy but cushioned yoga mat, this one is it.

Absolutely worth the price.
I have an old Manduka Pro mat, it’s 18 years old, nothing wrong with it, still in excellent shape. Considering it gets used almost daily for at least 1.5 hours. Plus got me through 300 hours of Yoga Teacher Training. Wanted a mat to bring with me Camping seen this one, thought for the price I’d give it a go. Happy I did! Loving the, “texture”, a bit of a stimulating heart effect on the feet and hands, quite nice. It’s a sturdy, dense mat which is actually better for support, (I’m 68, and have arthritis), This mat will be my new Travel Companion. Manduka mats are top notch. Highly recommend this one.

Non-Slip sturdy Yoga Mat
After 10 years of Yoga and tons of mats, I can say that Manduka X Yoga Mat – Premium 5mm is the best. I do Bikram, Hot Pilates and Flow Yoga and this mat has great grip to the floor and to you. Your feet don't slide when wet and the mat doesn't shift on the floor. The texture is firm. It may not be the lightest mat, but it is my favourite. I do yoga everyday and keep 2 in rotation and they dry out well. Sweat sits on the mat and is not absorbed and can just be wiped off during practice or hung to dry over night. Great product!
