Works as needed.

Worked great. No leaks heats up the water and works really well. Had a little drop of a leak and just make sure you really tighten the connections. Leak stopped then.

Warranty/customer service is not helpful.

I had this water heater professionally installed. Less than a month after installing it the digital display screen stopped working. When I contacted the warranty department they said they would replace it but I had to pay for the shipping to return the malfunctioning water heater. After explaining that I had already paid to have it installed and would now have to go through the hassle of uninstalling and then reinstalling the new one, I told them I did not think I should have to be paying for anything. Especially given that this was a brand new product that malfunctioned shortly after install. Since then the warranty person has not contacted me back. Also, the phone number for the warranty doesn’t work. It rings for a couple minutes then just disconnects you, so you’re unable to actually speak to someone. They only communicate by email.

Leaks bad

Put in and started leaking right off the batt. Fills a 2 quart container every 6 hours. Not happy and will not buy again.
