Great Big and Tall Jacket

I don’t normally take the time to write reviews, but in this case I felt it was necessary. At 6’7” and 290 pounds I am considered a BIG guy. I have been on the search for down puffer for some time. I have tried a lot of brands that claim to be big and tall, but they never fit like I wanted. Most of the time I would just compromise and be ok with something that wasn’t just quite right, but I decided to keep looking. I bought this Marmot thinking it too would not be perfect, but when I tried it on, I couldn’t believe how well it fit. No joke, feels like it is a tailored jacket. I have a 50” chest and 39” arms. The XXL Tall fit amazing. The jacket lands at my hips and the sleeves don’t ride up my arms. I am actually looking forward to the colder months now so I can have a reason to wear it. WTG Marmot!

Not as warm as they proport but ok

700 fill is not enough for anything 0 degs or below. Forget about wind chill as it is not thick enough for that either. I would not view this as good for the Minnesota winters I live in. Sizing seems fine. I ordered one size up because you will need to layer this this jacket. YMMV

Great backpacking jacket

This is a great backpacking jacket. For all of the one star reviews for being too lightweight, it’s a lightweight jacket meant to be stuffed in your backpack taking very little room, or weighing it down. :)

Not worth it.

I was kinda disappointed with this one. I know the brand and own some of their stuff. The down in this one really seems to be missing. Really surprised at the lack of down for what it advertises the fill rate for. I sent it back and chose other brand. TNF
