I didn't see it in the product description so I thought I should write a review so others would know this switch is made in the USA. Housing is die cast. Contact plate is firmly installed. I've tested it and it works fine. Haven't had it long so I don't know how it will hold up under extended use. One thing I should mention is that the switch has three positions; off, ACC/Run, Start. In the "Start" position there is no power to the ACC/Run pins so if you are trying to use this to control an engine with a electric fuel pump or solenoid fuel shutoff, it won't energize that contact when you are cranking. I got around this by using a couple of diodes mounted externally to the switch to energize that circuit. Otherwise it looks like a very well made switch.

Easy fix
I put this on an older 30 inch cut Craftsman riding mower. Kept and reused the original nut for the rubber boot. The wire side was plug n go. It's working fine to date.

Package was open and the key was missing
When we received the ignition switch the plastic cover we off and the key to the switch was missing. That was the main reason I got the new key switch. our key was gone and someone used a screw driver to start the mower and damaged the switch

Rewired to make work.
I accidentally purchased this for my older 80's vintage Craftsman ride on. It is not intended for Craftsman but the plug fit so I just had to move terminals around to get the correct configuration. Works great now.
