No brainer for ponds
Dad and I used to put a bale or two of barley straw in ponds to improve water quality and add a pleasant brown peat like color to discorage algae. I got the concentrate to do the same in my little outdoor water feature.

Absolutely a must in my pond every year!
This is my go to product every year when the string algae starts to appear. This year I had a pump malfunction and ended up having to pump about 2500 gallons of fresh water back into my pond, with doing this after temperatures had already climbed to highs near 90f. I knew I was going to have rapid growth of many algae and we were leaving for a 2 week vacation so I was worried. Sure enough, within the week my water got nasty, no plants were big enough to help out and the remains of last years bottle wasnt enough for my 5500 gallon pond. I ordered a 32 oz. bottle and poured half in. This product will sometimes work in days but when the string algae is well established it can take a week. Within 3 days my water was flowing beautifully and my waterfalls were clearing off, I will defiantly keep on purchasing this every year! We just had a severe storm come through and two large trees fell on the pond, we were without power for 3 days. Even though I had tree limbs, saw dust particles and, the flow was stopped with no filtration (15 8"-16" koi) I still have no string algae! I should also add that I add a simple bacteria to the water in the spring to help start that growth and now my plants are becoming better established.

Safe for fish
We struggled with algae growth in our koi/goldfish pond. Adding shade and this product stopped the blanket algae and our water is crystal clear. You could see a difference the same day. Used 1x per week for 3 weeks so far and water is crystal clear and no more floating algae. Most importantly the fish are all healthy. Ours did come in a different shaped bottle than what was pictured, but no big deal, it was easy to pour into a glass measuring cup. Will continue to use for maintenance in the pond and will purchase again when we run out, but this will last awhile because for my size pond we only use an ounce at a time.

STOPPED THE STRING ALGAE FOR SURE
tHE POND WAS DARK WITH THIS PRODUCT BUT THE FISH AND ALGAE SEEMED TO LIKE IT. IT STOPPED THE STRING ALGAE .BUT, THE POND WAS A DARK COLOR WHICH I WAS NOT USE TO, BUT THE FISH ARE HAPPY AND SAFE. IT WAS A GOOD PRODUCT I THINK

Sent different bottle than advertised
Great product for algae control. Just wish they would ship the bottle shown on the website. It has marks to measure dosage. The one they sent requires a measuring device to determine amount to add to pond. Not accurate description.

Miracle worker
I trust anything that says Microbe Lift. I recently stocked my pond with several fish, which was overworking my filter, and my filter was losing the battle. But I added this product, following the instructions for “turgid water” and after 5 days, it is almost completely clear. And it didn’t harm my fish, frogs, tadpoles or plants.

Misleading.
Not what I expected, there should've been a warning for product change. The product and container are different from the advertised version. I've not seen any difference in the pond after a few days, hope it works.

Works pretty well at keeping down the weed
Works pretty well at keeping down the weed .. but given our strong and long summer sun in Edmonton AB Canada it is hard to manage weed generation.
