Wow, so impressed!

I am just thrilled. I was sick of my fancier China and had another set too cream colored-I craved a white with simple platinum accent and these are stunning! They came packaged perfectly, not a single piece broken which really worried me as I unwrapped it all. It is a true, soft white, not cream, and really stunning. I'm so excited to host Thanksgiving this year and do some silver accents rather than my usual gold.

Beautiful, timeless set

This set is really a beautiful, timeless set. Everything looks great on a white plate! They have just enough pizazz with the platinum rim to be formal. The shape of the teacups is just special to me! I love serving them to guests. I have ran mine through the dishwasher and they seem to be tougher than they look.

Durable, nice looking set.

This set is very pretty and resembles the bone china platinum set. It is a great way to dress a table at a fraction of the cost of bone china. while still giving a look of elegance. It is more durable than bone china so you don't have to be as careful (or nervous) while handling.

One plate came broken

One plate is broken, and there is no option to replace only one piece; you would have to replace the whole set if you want the problem to be fixed.

Mikasa china set

Arrived timely and very well packaged. I love this set. I had always wanted a simple set of white china with just a trim in silver. This set is beautiful! Simply Elegant! Perfect for any occassion! Washes well in the dishwasher. YES... I said the diswasher! I have never ever washed china in a diswasher before. The packaging said that it is dishwasher safe, although they do recommend hand washing. I was very careful to be sure they were well placed in the dishwasher and not able to move, touch each other, or slide around. They came out beautiful. If you are considering this set... buy it! You will not be sorry! It is very elegant and absolutely beautiful on the table! This was a purchase for 'me.' I deserve it and I love it.

Great strong lightweight fine china

I have a new dining room when I never had one before. I bought this set of china because it is dishwasher safe and I use it at least twice a week. Great strong lightweight fine china. Highly recommend. Edit: NOT DISHWASHER SAFE, After a couple of months of usage, I had to stop putting it in the dishwasher as I can see some small fading marks on the dishes. I won't use them as often and I'm very disappointed.

Good value for your money

This 40 piece set is get value for your money. Normally $60 - $75 for each 5 piece setting. Arrived with no damages. Washed all by hand, and stacks well. Classic design. I would love to know where I can get the matching serving pieces from (platter etc)

Stunning and elegant

The Mikasa Cameo Platinum is simple, understated elegance and high quality. I needed a pattern to go with my different styles of serving dishes; one serving set is modern & bold and the other set is classic. The Cameo Platinum does the trick so I don't have to buy two sets of china. It also compliments my sliver plate cutlery and makes the table settings beautiful and elegant. I love it.
