Incredible boots and company service

I first purchased a size 11 boot due to the fact that is my normal boot size.. They arrived quickly and I tried them on, the boots were way to large, almost to the point my feet were fallen out of them. I reach out to the company and they quickly issued me a return. I reorder the boots in size 10 but received a size 9.5 When I put them on they fit like a glove with regular boot socks. These boots are well made and comfortable to wear . I went for a ride on my bike and had no problem with slippage. Highly recommend....

Nothing wrong with them, but nothing great either

Other reviews say these run about a half size BIG. I wear anywhere from a size 9 to 10 depending on the manufacturer. I went with size 9. I wish I could have tried on a size 8.5 and a 9 in order to see which fits better, but I will keep the 9's anyway, as they're just a little loose. With the straps tightened as tight as possible and even adding a new hole, I can still put these boots on and take them off without using the side zippers. The straps do not tighten these boots to the point that they won't pull off. This is significant if you plan on these being your boots for riding a motorcycle, because if you stub your toe on the pavement at highway speed during an accident, these boots will be found separate from your feet. Apparently the straps are purely for style - form over function. I was surprised by how thick and puffy they are. I don't know for sure how insulated they are, but it is significant. These probably will not be comfortable in hot weather. I bought my pair Used-Like New for about half price. They came quickly and showed no sign of damage or prior use. My last comment is on the color. The boots were a lighter brown than shown in the picture. After I decided that I'm going to keep them, I immediately treated them with Huberds Shoe Grease, which darkened the leather and made them look like the pictures. Overall they look like they're decent but not great boots. They'll probably last a couple of years of seasonal (not hot weather) use. They're comfortable, but definitely do size down anywhere from half a size to a full size.

Good Boot ... maybe.

I actually started thinking 5 Stars when I took these boots from the box. Looked good the leather feels nice ... but then I had a surprise. Dropped the first Star; that one is on me for listening to other people. Many repliers said and raved about how much too big these boots are ... well not so much!!! I usually wear size 11 EE, so I ordered them 10.5 (no width option) and I noticed right away that, if I had bought these in a store, I would have needed my usual size 11. not too tragic .. a couple weeks in the thickest socks I have and some leather lotion and they do fit now. Dropped the second Star; when I realized that after 3 weeks the Velcro fastener on the end of the zipper is already coming off (see image). For a boot that is not cheap and boasts with quality that is not acceptable IMO. There is probably no need to try and return it now ... most likely too late anyway ... so I will glue it on and hope it holds. Pros: It is a nice looking boot The leather is nice and soft and quite thick There is a padding on the shin that is very nice. The boots are pleasantly taller than I anticipated. Cons: I am questioning the quality of craftsmanship. Worried about durability. Size is more true than people make it out to be. The strap across the top of the foot has an elastic part which makes it completely useless for tightening and the strap is only for show. My conclusion ... I will go with a different model/make next time.

A good online riding boot purchase

These boots are good for riding my 09 FXDF Fat bob. They are a half size bigger then most other riding boots. That aside they are comfortable to wear all day long.

Best boot online

These are very well made, thick leather and thick soul. Very cozy to wear. Highly recommend giving these a try if looking for a rugged good looking stylish boot. Excellent value for the money.

Decent quality boot for recreation or fashion.

Ordered these for a Dante cosplay from Devil May Cry 5, they hit all the points I was after in terms of look and material. I have 2 different size feet, ones us11.5 and ones us12, so I ordered size us12 to be sure. They appear to be a half size larger than what was ordered despite saying us12. I've never worn engineer boots before, so it could just be I'm unfamiliar with how they should typically fit, due to lack of laces and relying entirely on straps. I've got a ton of play, even with tucked in pants, and I was surprised just how little you can tighten them down with the straps. I used a small leather punch to add an extra notch to secure as far as the leather strap would allow without potentially tearing. Even then the boot is an entirely loose fit, snug enough to keep it on my feet but not to actually support the leg or ankle. My 3 year old, 12h per day, broken into hell and back danners, tighten far better with the laziest tug, than I could even force these boots to go. Regardless, the construction of the boot seems solid, the leather is of a decent quality, the sole is heavy (personal preference) and the toe is sturdy. The insole is very rigid and doesn't offer much support so I'd recommend replacing it with something else or padding another on there. For my use case, as a costume piece, it does it's job perfectly well, it does the only thing I need it to by staying on my feet and not making me sore wearing them. If I had ordered them with the intention of making them a daily driver, I would've either reordered a smaller size or sent back and look else where. You can't beat a local boot shop to get you set for life, I ventured here because they didn't have any in the style. Only recommendation would be to add some additional length to the leather straps and more notches to accomodate or pad the liner more.

Ordered a half size smaller based on previous reviews and these fit like a glove. Good quality nice looking boot. Already have recommended to others who have purchased and agree.

Comfortable from the get-go!

Really well made, comfortable and feel as though they're already broken in. Excellent leather boots with a comfortable side zipper.
