This fixture is an important part of a successful rain chain installation

Rain chains obviously hang from the bottoms of gutters. This one matches the material and finish of the three Monarch rain chains I have installed. With the supplied bolt, the chains can be easily removed during winters here in New England, and that's handy. Furthermore, the hanger bolts have a short center section of smaller diameter, and that helps greatly to keep the chains centered in the hole of the spout.

Easy to install. Great quality (copper and brass so it won't rust!). This made installation a breeze. Highly recommend!!!

so far so good.

top, horizontal flanges are a bit thin and flimsy. however being pure copper, your gonna get softer metal. they have only been on the house for 4 days now so cant comment on long term quality. but so far they are doing what they are suppose to.

Great adapter

We used this to hang our rain chain. We cut a hole in the gutter, put sealant between the adapter and gutter and riveted the adapter on.

Beautiful cooper spout for my rain chain

Super easy to install. Just remove existing downspout and drop this into the existing hole. Rain chain attaches very easily.

Looks good from a few feet away, up close, not so much

Let me preference this with Amazon had used one available, but I choose new. It was in its normal box when shipped to me but the packing had been removed and just in the bottom of the box, also not in its plastic bag. Safe to assume it was most likely returned not restored to its proper shipping condition. So I guess I got used for new price. There is a dent in it but that won't be notice when installed. There are a few pinhole breaks in the copper that happened in manufacture, IMO, in the tube section of the adapter. Should not affect how it works but makes me question how long it will last or might the adapter tear at this weakness. So from afar looks great, up close extrusion problems are revealed. And Amazon is shipping open box at new prices, shame.

Didn't fit

This is well made but doesn't fit the outlet at the top of the drainpipe the rain runs around it
