Help keep feet warm

I am a rural mail carrier and have trouble keeping my feet warm. My current boots made by Sorrel were not insulating the bottoms of me=y feet very well. These insoles definitely added a layer of insulation and helped keep my feet warm during some pretty cold days.

These are cut too narrow, fail to cover sole

The size I bought - (men's 6-7; women's 8-9) I chose for a woman's winter sheepskin boot whose molded sole is not thick enough to insulate against the cold of a concrete floor, and when I took them out of the package I was surprised at their dimensions. The insole is 10 1/2" long and despite that being abnormally long for the size given, fits inside my boot. But the insole is just 3 1/4" wide at its widest point. That is strangely narrow and the heel is narrower, 2 5/16" at the widest, and I immediately wondered whether this failure to fill out the sole of my footwear would affect the insoles' ability to insulate. To test the product, I inserted one and am wearing one boot with and one without on said cold floor. Yes, where the insole covers, there is definitely more warmth. But my toes lop over into the space that is not covered where the insole is too narrow and there they are not being insulated. It is noticeable. I find this not satisfactory. You may also want to know that these insoles have an average thickness of 1/4". It is an average because of the quilted nature of the material. For some footwear this will be too thick to insert; it will negatively affect fit. It happens to be OK in my deliberately too-large boots and will compress over time as well. The shiny metallic aluminum base layer is to be inserted down toward the floor. It has a tacky feel so will stay put, and the fibrous felt upside allows the sock-clad feet to slip inside the footwear easily enough. Now if we can just get the manufacturer to stop cutting the product so narrow that it fails to insulate, we'd be all set. Please note that these insoles would be very easy to trim with scissors if needed. Until the sizing is made appropriate, I cannot recommend this product.

Freakin Love these things !!!!

Bought a pair of Eogers 3.5mm / 600 gram ... as a backup ... put these in the soles ... been duck hunting 15yrs ... so I can say this ... turned those 600gram into 1000gram warm "easy" ... maybe 1200gram ... but 1000 definitely. WILL purchase for any other waders or hunting boots

Didn’t last

After less than a month, the material started pilling/separating. Product then started sticking to my socks and coming out of the boot every time I took it off. Can’t recommend

Thin but comfortable & warm

These were comfortable, and they are thin enough to put in shoes without being too thick. I was worried that they might not be big enough, as I wear a size 15 or 16, but I didn't cut them down any and they are large enough. They actually kept my feet warmer too!

Utter rubbish, save your money

What a load of cr*p. Save your money folks and stick to buying simple lambs wool insoles if you want to insulate your feet from the cold. I bought these for a trip this week to Norway. And this is the state of them after 4 days of mild walking in a decent set of boots in barely any snow and temperatures that hardly dropped below -2, hardly Arctic! They’re falling to bits they move around in the boots and just seem to absorb moisture. I’d ask for a refund if I thought I’d get any response. Load of old pants.

I wear my husbands wellington boots at the cabin sometimes and they are cold and too big- I thought I’d try these to see if they would help and they do! They fit better and are warm and cosy! A marked difference at a great price! My feet are happy ????

Highly Recommend

Wow. These are pretty much the best cold weather accessory I have bought in the last few years. It made a HUGE difference in how warm my feet were. Definitely recommend these if you spend a decent amount of time outside in the winter.

Warm and comfortable

Needed replacement inserts for kiddo’s winter boots. She says that they are comfortable and lovely and warm. They fitted exactly and did not need trimming. True to size.
