Kept my hands warm and dry
I used these on a recent trip to Iceland. They did what they were supposed to do—kept my hands perfectly dry and warm. The temperatures were in the 40˚F range, and the gloves did keep my hands warm.

Excellent "spring" gloves for many reasons... value is only question. (Compare to Marmot)
I have always worn lightweight "spring" gloves for winter activities, regardless of the season or temperature. I guess my extremities just don't get that cold. My previous pair of go-to gloves were some leather-palm Marmot Spring Gloves that I liked a lot. I think these MHWs surpass those, and may be the perfect glove for me, at least. Here's why: 1. Lightweight: Because these are intended to be for warmer "spring" temps, they are very lightweight. Even within that category, though, these seem particularly less bulky than some others. My Marmot's felt slightly bulkier/heavier, especially when wet. 2. Nice/smart features: Apparently, I've been missing out on giant cuff loops - these make them way easier to pull on! The clip that holds them together is nice for not losing them in a bag. The screen-touchable fingers work well (though there's just enough thickness to the gloves that it still is tricky to use a phone with accuracy...). Not sure about the loop on the back of the ring finger, but I could see it coming in handy. 3. Thin: They mention some kind of special tech that keeps the gloves thin, with fused/less shifty layers - and this does seem to be working well here! They feel nice and thin - in a good way - and the inner layer doesn't shift around too much, compared to other gloves (it's not perfect... particularly in the thumb area, a little bunching can occur, but not too bad, especially if you use the pull-on loop.) 4. Fit: I'm 6'0 225, but my hands are pretty average (or slightly thin), and the Large size fit... like a glove. If you have thick fingers or large hands, you might want to size up (or just measure extra carefully as per sizing instructions.) 5. Quality: The construction looks good, materials feel high-quality, stitching looks good, etc. The palm materials seems good and grippy, but only time will tell how it wears. My previous gloves had leather palms, and even when I waterproofed the leather, it would eventually get heavier and waterlogged after a long day on the slopes. I assume these will not have that issue! Performance-wise, I haven't had a chance to use these in truly cold temps yet, but I'll update when I do. I assume they will perform well, though I'm interested to see how water resistant they really are... The only feature I might miss on my Marmots is the nose-wiping pad on the back of the thumbs, which of course is kind of gross but also very handy when you need it suddenly. That said, the nose-wiping material never seems to hold up well (I've had Burton gloves and Marmots that feature it, neither held up), so maybe it's better off without it. There are no real negatives... these seem kind of like the perfect gloves for me. A light amount of warmth, slim profile, nice features, durable materials, water resistance, etc. The only thing is, the price is quite high, obviously... I think I paid maybe $40 for my Marmots, and there are plenty of similar gloves on the market (without Gore-Tex) that cost half as much as these. It's kind of up to you... do you need the "perfect" glove with the highest-end materials, or will something else suffice? Overall, though, these seem like a great pair of gloves if you're like me and you don't need a ton of warmth. Recommended!

A little spendy, a little lightweight
I have super long EDS fingers and these fit pretty well. I have large or extra-large "women's" gloves. These are quite warm and relatively thin. They have nice features and can hook together. They're warm enough for less intense fall or spring weather. They have a split cuff with velcro. Mine are pretty good but conflict with the cuffs on my jacket. They have a keyhole cut out that is supposed to allow the wrist to close more easily but that also allows freezing air to come in. I have to put the gloves on before I put on my coat/jacket otherwise the cuffs won't fit under my sleeve cuffs. The price is a bit much to me for how warm they are.

Well made- top end materials
I'm a big fan of Mountain Hardwear and have been for decades. They supplied an expedition I did with down coats and tents, and the quality sold me on them ever since. I still have my G4 Challenge Mountain Hardwear tent and it's more than 15 years old and still like new- same for the coat, although it may be time to retire it some day soon. These gloves should be ordered a size up if you plan to use in extreme cold weather, so you can add another liner- these are relatively thin and appear to be intended for mid temps as well as layering. I got these in my actual size to use while plowing snow in an open cockpit UTV- where I need the dexterity of a thinner glove while still being waterproof but breathable. Since these came up for review in summer, and it's currently 96 degrees, I can't say for sure how warm they are with this relatively thin design- but I can state that they are comfortable and I can't find any errant threads or bad stitches- they're very well made, as one would expect. So, at least consider if you plan to use these for layering- and if so, size them up a bit.

High tech gloves
I've been a big fan of Goretex for many years. I have found it to be a reliably waterproof and breathable fabric that's great in running gear, trail shoes, etc. These gloves say they have a layer of it that's providing their weather protection. I also think that these gloves give me some range of temperature coverage in that they're warm enough for cool to moderately cold temperatures without a liner glove and then there's room for me to wear a snug fitting liner glove inside these when it's colder. I'd think they'd be ideal for late season snow sports. I like the feel of the gloves' lining and the fabric loops design that lets me quickly pull the gloves all the way on my hands. There are clips to help me keep the gloves together when they're in my pocket. I have some other cold and wet weather weather gear from this brand and I've had good experiences with it over the years. I'm expecting the same from these well designed gloves and hope to use them for a long time.

Great midweight all weather gloves
These are great gloves. They are a good brand that we've used before. Overall they are lightweight and not bulky but are warm. Made from water resistant material they are really functional as well. Perfect for early winter.

These gloves are everything
I wish I had known about these before I spent money on a pair from a certain big outdoor retailer. These are a real game-changer for me. I have nerve damage in one hand and having a good grip in gloves often meant not having gloves that were also warm. With these I don't have to compromise, they grip well, have touchscreen capability and my hands are never cold even in really harsh conditions outside for long periods of time. I will likely be giving these as gifts this holiday season to loved ones. I love them that much. They are worth every penny.

Thin Dry Gloves
These are really thin gloves, almost no insulation, but allow for a lot of tactile usage. The gore tex layer keeps your hands breathing and water out. Love these gloves when the weather isn't super cold, but still need gloves.
