Good choice

In my opinion, this shoe is a bit wider than I expected for my size 9 feet. I feel a bit of under-support while walking sideways on a slope/hill. Otherwise, these are light weight and comfortable with my high arches.

not as good as previous years. returned them

this is my 4th pair of these. I live in the wet PNW and hike dogs daily on forest roads and trails. I have difficult feet functionally and fit wise. . these were my go to shoes for 8 months a year almost daily. I got about2 years out of each pair before the heel would wear down. seems not bad for 8 months/ 5 days a week but this pair is different. the fit is different (tighter in width and not as roomy in the instep. no room for my usual socks. ), the stitching at the top of th fleas is rough and blister causing, the material seems a bit different stiffer, different texture) within a week I had two LEAKS. one was where a branch sliced the rubber near the sole , the other was where the sole meet the top. just a little gap hardly visible. looks like manufacturing defect maybe. anyway. returning then. very dissapointed . these are NOT expedition worthy anymore. so sad. they were great for years.

Exactly what I needed

Sizes are whole numbers and I normally wear 9.5. After reading reviews, I ordered a 9 and it fits well and is not tight. Waterproof and easy to clean. I’m very happy with them.

Fell apart after 2 years

Overall good shoe, but for the price I expected to get more than 2 years out of these. The sole recently came completely off the bottom. I only wear these one day per week to mow the lawn for about 2 hours(live in NY so this is 7 months out of the year). Love the shoes but for $120, I expected a longer lifespan control the limited times I wear them.

Sturdy But Tight

The shoe fits snug. Unfortunately the band around the top of the neck of the shoe cuts into the back of your heal. I developed a blister within 10 minutes of walking around peoples yards repairing irrigation issues for their homes. I am trying to use shoe trees to stretch the rubber band at the top of the shoe and the heel area. I placed a bandage over my blister and it seems to help. I hope the stretching alleviates the friction, tightness and snugness. The soles of the shoe are comfortable and rather sturdy.

Smaller than previous pait that are worn out.

Have a similar pair of these low Muck shoe/boots that are worn out. Bought the same size that the worn out shoes were. I wear a 9 1/2 wide in shoes and ordered the 9's. Very tight fit when compared to my previous pair. The old pair went on with ease and even could put them on standing up. The new ones I have to sit down in order to get them on. Did consider sending them back. Shipping from this vendor was extremely quick and a day earlier than they stated on confirmation of order. My last pair were the best shoe/boots that I ever had for my wet yard.

Awesome but not sporty

Bought these because I was sick of wet feet when I run out to do something on the back lawn when the grass is wet and they work perfectly for that. Don't expect them to be that nimble though. The heels tend to roll sideways on uneven terrain so I won't be able to use them for heavy or fast paced yard work. Still very glad I bought them, I just wish they were a bit more stable.

Lasts Forever and keep your feet dry

Husband loves these for working in the yard, especially springtime when the ground is still soggy. Would've given 5 but the don't have the cinch cord for a snugger fit. Very durable and great for wet grounds
