If you want to see my original review (which I gave 5 stars), scoot to the bottom. I have clearly marked it. UPDATED REVIEW: I bought this comforter this summer (2014). I decided to wash the comforter for the first time after some average use. First... the comforter was in perfect condition before putting it into the washer. I was thrilled with it and it was by far one of the most comfortable comforters I have ever owned. Anyway... I went to Natural Comfort's website to check about special washing instructions and it seemed quite simple: "Easy care comforter, machine wash (by oversize washer) on lowest spin and tumble dry. No bleaching, touch up iron on low heat." Easy enough right? WRONG!!! So... I followed the instructions. When I looked at the comforter when done, I was HORRIFIED. I used the gentle cycles. I used low temp drying. I did what they told me to do. What I got was a comforter that lost TONS of color in blotches. It looks like someone put bleach on it. I don't even own bleach in my house. I just used one of the pre-measured pouches as I do with all my clothes. There's no bleach in it. I use it on colors all the time. It's the Kirkland brand you buy at Costco. Anyway... I was horrified. I couldn't have the dark blue side up anymore because it was completely ruined. I thought about it and said... ok... I'll just flip it and use the lighter side. I will say that it's better, but there's still discoloration on that side... but not as much and not as noticeable. Am I done with my problems? No!!! When I laid the comforter down, it felt funny in certain places. It completely bunched up in areas. I'm talking about the internal padding. I thought I could wiggle it back into shape, but nope. That doesn't work. Additionally, some of the stitching gave away in the wash. I was so upset because again... I loved this comforter so much. I figured that most companies will stand behind their products, so today I called up Natural Comfort and spoke to a young woman on the phone. I told her the story and she said that it had to be returned in 30 days and be unwashed. I explained to her that it was perfect until I washed it. She then told me I didn't wash it correctly. Does she think I can't read? I read her word for word what the directions say to do for this comforter and she again said that I must have done something wrong and it would be denied because it's past 30 days and because it's been washed. I honestly felt like she had this conversation rehearsed or has said this many times as it was quite simple and easy for her to state. I asked her if there was something they could do to help me. Refund, replacement, discount for replacement, etc. I got a simple answer... "No." Here's the big question I asked her that I felt was worth another paragraph in this review. I asked, "I'm surprised, Do you all not stand behind the quality of your products?" Her answer was "No. Not if you washed it." BUYER BEWARE - This comforter might be the best you've had in the beginning... but unless you want to live in filth... it will start to fall apart after 1 wash... or get completely ruined after 1 wash. I'm not sure what to do now. Anytime I have had issues with a company and their product, I have always worked with them to resolve the situation as companies tend to stand behind their products. Now I'm stuck with a comforter that looks horrible, is falling apart, and needs to be replaced. I just wasted a bunch of money :( If anyone from Natural Comfort is reading this, I'd love a response. I'd love for someone from there to tell me that the girl answering the phone was wrong and not representative of your business. I'd love for someone to work with me in resolving this problem. I'll try to take a video of the problems and insert it later. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I am quite pleased with this set. I wanted my room to look nice for the new lady friend that was going to start visiting more often. Anyway... it's really comfy. Not too hot, not too cold. I don't have any static issues with it either. My only gripe is that finding matching sheets or bedskirt from the company is not easy and I had to go to a local store to find something that worked. Bang for the buck... VERY happy.

beautiful, wrinkle free ---
Bought this for my son who bought new bedroom suite and cleaned out his room which I called to be hones - a pig sty......that is unless I continued to clean it every day for him. The set is beautiful --- I reversed it to the ight bue side --- for the price it cannot be beat - it looks well on the dark wood bedroom set --- and if you wish to bright it up - you can use pillows ---- my son can like on this and no harm done --- he can eat chips and drink tea (or cola --- and do not have to worry about having to wash every week or so......when yake the bed the next day you have no wrinkles ---one problem had beautiful plum sheets -- so believe I will buy white or pale blue sheets to brighten up a bit - regardless this is a very lovely set --- and WRINKLE FREE ---- I have had beds where you just did not want to sleep in same for fear of wrinkling a buttercup set --- this set is for a boy ----- washing, will have to take it (is king size0 TO laundromat or get a new washer --- this is why I love this microsoft fabric --- in this color - looks beautiful --- and you can watch TV in bed without worrying about it --- it is truly a comforter set --- comfortable ---- easy care. Excellent Comforter
I was very reluctant to buy a comforter online but since my luck was so lousy finding something I liked elsewhere, I thought I'd take a risk. I have to say this is the best comforter I ever owned. The weight is perfect..not too heavy and not too light. The fabric is just as perfect. I saw some reviews that described it as 'soft'. I wouldn't describe it as soft. It has a texture much like my Egyptian cotton sheets. It's very comfortable to the touch and doesn't rub me the wrong way like my last comforter. I don't like satin-like things that pick and stick. The size is just right too. It hangs down far enough on all sides to cover my 12" mattress and gently overlap the bed skirt. I don't think I ever had a comforter that didn't fall short. What can I say? I like it. The cats like it. Their hair comes off of it pretty easy. This thing is perfect in every way.

Great comforter at an affordable price!
Love this comforter!! It's so soft! It's lightweight yet it keeps you very warm!! It feels like luxury. This comforter actually fits our king sized bed perfectly. Unlike most comforters I have owned, this one is a true king size (110 x 96) so there is plenty of comforter hanging on the sides. I noticed on other reviews they said it had a strong odor, mine didn't. I would definitely recommend this comforter! UPDATE: Wanted to post an update after washing. I took it to a Laundromat and used their largest washer & dryer. I washed it in cold water and dried it on low to no heat, I went back and forth between med to low/no heat. I kept taking it out and adjusting it to make sure it stayed fluffy. It turned out great after washing it. The color did not fade. I would still highly recommend this comforter.

Very pretty, but...
I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and saw the color. It's much prettier in person. The feel and quality is fantastic. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because my one dog already scratched a small hole in it on the first night I used it. And it looks like there is a pull coming from the hole. I read several reviews on this product before buying it, and the one thing I liked was that several customers said they had dogs and cats that like to scratch, and that this product held up despite the scratching. Well, my dog is only 20 lbs and she already left a mark. I have 3 dogs, and they all like to scratch on the bed, so I'm guessing this will happen again.
