Well constructed and substantial.
I have a rescue that lunges at everything and anything on our long and frequent walks/hikes, and this leash leaves me with a high level of secured confidence.

Finally! Love this leash!
It's great! I have a very strong dog and I was getting elbow pain from getting yanked around whenever he got distracted. I tried the bungee add-ons and they worked okay but began to fall apart after some time. This leash has outlasted all previous experiments. Very happy with it. Just enough stretch to avoid a painful tug but no so much that you lose control or are not able to redirect.

Sturdy and high quality, but heavier than I prefer
For big dogs and ones that pull hard, this is a good leash. It's robust and strong, the Shok-Tek bungee does actually buffer a strong jerk a bit (and is a darn cool feature), and the handle is pretty comfortable. I'm impressed with the quality of it. For my pooch Ivory and me, it's a bit on the heavy side, though. I have to continually pay attention to the slack for it not to weigh down her collar. Maybe she doesn't care, I don't know...but I do. I also don't like the clasp appears to be painted. It might not be, and it looks and works fine, but I've had painted clasps in the past that transfer paint on to fur, so I go with non-painted metal clasps now. While it might not be perfect for us, it really is a high quality leash that I believe would hold up to pullers. Plus, it's thick enough that you should see signs of wear before a pooch would be able to bite and snap through it.

The bungee makes this usable
The bungee makes this a usable product for us, since without that feature, the rest of the leash is just average. The handle is comfortable enough, but after using another brand's products recently, I'm no longer a fan of these little clips, I've grown used to the more carabiner-type fastener. The cushioning here is great though for a dog that still lunges at things of interest during walks. So it does what it's designed to do fairly well.

What's the big deal?
This is a great leash. Simple, the usual leash you expect to get. "Shok Tek Bungee" however? What is that? Sure, part of these stretches a bit, but I don't see the point. The dog is still secure. It can stretch a bit if it needs to, but it's just a dog leash. No big advantage to having the stretchy part unless it's just that the dog can get around easily a bit if it wants to explore a scent. A good leash, just don't fall for the "shok-tek" hype.

Very nice leash, but too heavy for smaller dogs
I wish the leash was sized, because I was excited about it, but it is way too heavy for my little 10 .8 lb pup. She's a terrier mix and is active and I thought this would be great, but it is just too heavy for her. It's a really nice leash though, a pretty blue cover and I really like the style with the blue bungee portion. It will make a nice gift! I have plenty of dog loving friends.

Best leash ever
This leash is seriously awesome. My dog pulls and it totally counteracts it making walking him more enjoyable. Strong material
