"PRETTY NEAT!"

I bought these for one of my House Keepers!. After I heard she'd received a New Sewing Machine as a Holiday Gift!... She really liked these as much as I enjoyed giving them!. It’s beginners friendly

I’ve never sewn garments before but wanted to try. This pattern was easy to understand and follow. Only basic stitching, the recommended fabrics are easy to sew on the machine and I’m happy with how my first ever dress has turned out. Also, 5 variations can be made with this one pattern so it’s very good for practice.

I succesfully sewed dress ever!

I bought a sewing machine a few months ago, and I wanted to try sewing a garment. This pattern was a perfect choice for a beginner. I completed the project very quickly. Literally in half a day’s time. My dressed turned out great, just a little bit big, It would fit me better if I used one size down, but that’s my bad. I plan to make more dresses using this pattern. Very stylish and very versatile dresses.

Not What it Seems

The illustration for this pattern makes the dress look like a flattering little A-line but it's NOT!!! The finished garment measurements of a SMALL are 40-42.5-49.5 - quite roomy in fact, which is why I gave it 5 stars for comfort. There are 3 neckline variations and 2 lengths, so I suppose you could say it's a versatile pattern ...

Very easy to follow, especially for beginners.

This is a very easy pattern to follow. I have made four dresses from it already--two with sleeves and two without. I added side seam pockets because...a lady needs pockets! I even made a sleeveless nightie from thin cotton fabric with this pattern. The measurements run a little large, but that is easily fixed during sewing.

Simple patterns for beginners

I thought this pattern was excellent for a beginner sewer. The instructions were pretty easy to follow and my dress came out pretty good for a first try.

The Package Was Intact/All Pieces Seem to Be There

I wasn’t sure what condition to expect since this was an older pattern. It seems as though it was never opened; and, certainly, the pattern had never been used. The patterns are just what I was hoping for, a simple A-line dress. Now, I have to buy some fabric and get busy.
