Gorgeous hand carved statue

This statue is by far the most beautifully detailed piece of wood art I've ever ordered. It arrived with substantial packing to protect the smaller parts which are all carved from one piece of wood. Inside the box you'll find a card explaining how it is made and some history of India. I'm giving this to my husband of 34 years as a Christmas gift but....I am torn because it would make a sentimental Valentine gift as well! This seller has many statues/products to chose from so I'll probably buy another masterpiece for Valentines day anyway! I highly recommend this site...they offer so many gorgeous products and pricing is very good. Kudos to this seller!

Where is the pamphlet or brochure?

There is no pamphlet of authencity included in box. Its a gift so I was expecting there to be one as stated in description!

Giving this as a gift. Showed it to friends who purchase this type of carving on their travels were impressed. I was impressed and the piece is signed. It is made in Indonesia and the recipient has traveled there. It's part of a wedding gift..."Two Hearts become One"

Pretty, smooth with no rough spots and carved well.

This statue is bigger than I expected - about a foot tall. It's real wood, but not heavy. The carving is nicely done and it's pretty from either side. The stain color is actually an excellent match with our natural mahogany kitchen cabinets. I like the simplicity of this piece - it's not overly fussy or frou-frou nor is it terribly masculine. I'm using it as a decorative piece to hide a defect on the wall behind it until we can get drywall redone.
