Soap dispenser

I love the color, but the pump is cheaply made. This is 2nd time I purchased a soap dispenser, different company, exact same pump. Probably the same company, different name.

decent quality with a good pump on top. This is a plastic or something light metal, not what I was expected.

It was great for value - until it leaked at four months!

This product looked great and is sturdy. Great for the price tag. Pump worked great. But out of no where, four months in, the soap started to leak out. I see cracks on the sides. Was going to try to glue it, but after performing a test, it seems it’s also seeping out of the bottom there must be small cracks at the seams. Disappointed. Really liked it.

Strong Chemical Smell

I don’t often write reviews, but in this case I need to mention that the product came with an extremely strong chemical smell (from inside the vessel) that simply will not go away despite a number of attempts to wash it out. Neither soap nor vinegar has worked to remove the smell, which ends up infusing the soap within with a strong unpleasant aroma that is quite noticeable when washing hands. The effect is especially pronounced when using unscented soap, as we do. Perhaps there’s another cleaning option that will work better - and if I’m made aware of one, I’ll be happy to update this review. Also worth mentioning, and why I deducted stars for “ease of use”, is that the pump is quite powerful with the tip aimed pretty much straight forward. If the liquid soap is not ultra-thick, this can result in the liquid soap projecting further than intended, so care must be taken to press the pump gently and block the stream fully with the hand. Otherwise, prepare to wipe up soap from the counter or floor. These downsides notwithstanding, the dispenser is attractive and feels quite sturdy. I could look past the over-enthusiastic pump if not for the overwhelming chemical smell which renders it mostly unusable.

Disappointing

After using for 6 weeks in the bathroom, the pump stopped working. This bathroom only has evening traffic so the actual use time before it broke is probably three weeks. Disappointing.
