Wish Not—Naphthalene—smelly

I really wanted to fall in love with these, as the color is beautiful & they are cute after washing out the naphthalene smell, took several washes & still goth vibes. Mine don’t look like pictured. The extra length is not terrible with heels or boots. They look great with T shirts, they have a slight flare! Fit lower on my waist than in picture. Ur body type may vary the fit. The fabric is a nice light summer stretch denim soft and cozy. Butt and my big butt here! Bubble flattening. Maybe I got wrong pair? Maybe miss sized? First experience with this brand so don’t know. Cut seems strange. Don’t hike ‘em higher… slow down camel creep. Slightly tighter than other brands. Not an industry standard petite at 33” inseam … industry standard petite runs at 28” NYDJ For short legged curvy ppl with tiny waists & long curvy hips it can be difficult to find a flattering fit, these don’t fit as expected. I hem and haw.

Incredibly comfortable

I love these jeans. They are a slimmer fit than I expected through the thighs but after wearing a few minutes they stretch to the perfect fit. They fall straight and are somewhat looser thru the calves and then loose at the ankle like you'd expect from straight leg jeans. I am 5'4" and 145 lbs. I bought a 10 petite.

Love these jeans!

I've searched for the perfect pair of straight leg jeans - and I've found them! On my 5' 1" frame, these jeans are just the right length to be worn as is and can also be cuffed. They look great with sneakers and short boots, as well as with Birkenstocks, of course. I'm happy I invested in such a cute pair of jeans!

I love these jeans!

I wanted a pair of dark wash jeans that could be dressed up or down with no unflattering sanded patches, whiskering, or frayed anything. These are exactly what I was looking for and I didn't have to hem them! (I'm 5'3-1/2" Bonus points!) I also bought a pair of boot cut that fit over my boots perfectly with just a little bit of stack. UPDATE: I have received so many compliments on these jeans that NYDJ should pay me a commission. I have been stopped several times by strangers asking what brand and color. Guess I'm not the only one who loves dark wash jeans!

three inches too long for Petite size????

I have worn this brand/size P for years, never had them three inches too long. I read other reviews saying the same, but ordered 2 pair anyway. Returned them as the alterations would be too pricey for these decent-priced jeans. Wonder if they were tagged wrong at the factory or what..... great brand, terrible fit.

Reliably Consistent

These are my every-day, go-to jeans, but because they are black, I wear them in many more places than I would wear denim. Except for the waist, which I always need to take in slightly, they fit me perfectly every time.

Nice fit and comfortable but color is off

Product was a much darker wash than I ordered and expected. I might have kept them if I wasn't looking for a specific light wash.

Nice dark jeans

Purchased these because they are plain and dark. Disappointed that some of the stitching on the back pocket was unraveled but I didn’t want to send back so I fixed it myself. Much longer than the ones I tried on in the store, they did not need hemming These are so long for a petite fit I will have to get them hemmed. Extra $ I wasn’t counting on. So basically I am not thrilled with NYDJ.

Almost Perfect Jeans!

Petite Size Marilyn Straight Leg Size 6P. (Replacing my Eddie Bauer Slightly Curvy High Rise, Slim Straight, size 8P jeans). My first pair of NYDJ and I love the fit. Almost perfect except the length is too long and I will have to hem them. (Usually I do not have to hem petite size jeans.). Patiently waiting for the color "cooper" to be available so I can order a 2nd pair.
