Oakley Replacement Lens

Purchased Oakley Flak with RX progressive lens about 2 years ago, Oakley was one of the first too utilize wrap around lens with RX. Paid $1,100.00 , worth every penny, after several attempts with RayBan, Maui Jim, Oakley simply are amazing. Recently purchased progressive contact lens, order non RX lens from Amazon, which brings me to this review. Shipment was on point, I had them less than 48 hours after ordering them, the replacement are not as clear as RX lens, but very close. I spent almost 2 hours at Sunglass Hut, looking for a second pair of non RX glasses, After trying on every pair they had that was not as sporting looking as Oakley Flak. I purchased Rayban sunglasses for $211.00 dollars, I will tell you they are not as clear as the non RX I purchased from Amazon, leading to these review. The Rayban will be returned on Monday.

Not an identical fit, good when installed

Were tough to install. When comparing the lenses with the old ones there were very slight mechanical differences. When installing there was significant fore that had to be applied for them to clear the frames housing. Almost gave up, but the site said universal fit. Others have not had this issue, my frames are about 5 years old. Anyway, just know they may not drop in like others claim. With the right force and flex in the frame they went in, may never come out! Lol.

Amazing lenses

Of course perfect fit but the shallow water lenses I got are next level. I got out on water with them and can easily see 3 feet down clear, I was able to see humps and ridges in shallow area of lake I fished very clear. I would highly recommend these lenses.
