Yes They're Real & A Steal!

These are my favorite Oakley's and it's even sweeter that Amazon (they're the seller) has them for more than half off. I have other sunglasses (**including some Gascans I also got for half off from Amazon **as the seller too not a third party** & they don't have the slow ship time like these. Just put a pair in your cart and watch the price in Winter/Early Spring. In May the price went back to regular retail.) so the 30 day delivery time wasn't a big deal to me. I ended up receiving these in a little over 2 weeks. These appear to be bulk orders Amazon places with Oakley and passes the discount on to us. For the record... yes, these are real. See my pics. I own a few pair of prescription Oakley glasses and sunglasses and the frame spec printing and raised areas match what they should. On to my personal thoughts regarding the Fuel Cell(FC) non-polarized Matte Black Grey Lens. As a guy with a huge noggin (size 8 fitted hat) I had read reviews saying the FC was a better fit for bigger heads than Gascans. I found the fit the same on my oval shaped head, comfortable with no irritation and secure enough to endure some running without strings around my neck. The real aesthetic advantage of the FC is the larger lense size compared to the Gascans. The lenses are large but not to the point of looking goofy. If I don't look like a goofball then I'll call that a win. I have no problem with the non-polarized lenses either. They grey are dark enough that you couldn't see my eyes unless I was directly under bright light and I can't tell the difference between polarized and non-polarized. I've seen the cool demonstration Oakley and others have and own polarized sunglasses but the glare reduction just seems the same. I don't care for the mirrored lens look either so these are perfect for me. If you're not sure whether you need/prefer polarized lenses or not you can give the less expensive non-polarized a try and if for some reason you need to go polarized later you can buy the Oakley replacement lenses for around forty bucks and would have still saved in the neighborhood of fifty doll hairs off retail. The only negative is that these don't come with a hard case like prescription Oakleys do. For the full price product you should expect it. The Oakley cases run $18-35. I prefer the Hazard 4 cases(under$20 and 1000D reinforced ballistic nylon.) It's like Maxpedition made a glasses case.(They don't FYI.) If you make sure you buy from Amazon and that you're not in a hurry you can't go wrong. Not a bad setup for a birthday or holiday gift when you know it's a date far off and Amazon's slow boat won't mess up your plans. I'd definitely buy them again here and probably will get some for my son.

These sunglasses are really great! Most important to me was the way they wrap around my head and they are comfortable. I like them a lot.

Wonderful lenses and design

Nice pair of Oakleys! Definitely light weight, and I feel that they were priced appropriately. My biggest gripe would be the comfort factor. While I like the way that they fit on my face, they can start to hurt my ears after wearing them for 2 plus hours. I've worn them for 8 hours straight, and a slight adjustment every now and then (lifting them slightly off my ears) seems to make it bearable. The other complaint would be when it's hot outside (or very humid), I occasionally start to fog up the lenses. I live in NC for reference. I own two pairs of Oakley Valves that are more comfortable around the ears, but these Fuel Cells are the only pair that I own with Prizm lenses. I really like the way that the colors contrast when viewed through these Prizm lenses. If I feel like my grass needs to look greener, I simply put on my Fuel Cells and instantly feel better!!

Favorite Oakleys

I have a half dozen pairs of Okleys and these are, by far, my favorite. Fit me perfectly and are very lightweight. Really terrific sunglasses.

Great shades.

I like these for the garden. Keep out the rays and large enough to protect the eye from branches. Prizm lenses are fantastic clarity and don’t need polarization in the yard.

Love the prizm lenses

Have had a pair of fuel cell Oakley's before was looking to replace them saw these on sale and bought them. I have never had Prizm lenses before I love them so much different than regular polarized lenses everything is brighter, crisper and more clear I would defiantly recommend.
