Excellent, simple design.

I bought this for use with Salicornia natural salt substitute as it is a very light and fine grain product. I researched shakers with covers because I felt that the Salicornia if left open to air would be hydrophlic in our humid climate. This really fits the bill: It has a choice of tiny holes (perfect for this use) and larger holes that would, I think, accomodate sea salt grains and then with a twist it is completely closed. The design is simplicity itself, and what I look for and expect from OXO products.

Has a Quality Feel

I'm very happy with this shaker/dispenser. Seems to seal well against moisture. Has a quality construction feel about it. Three position rotating top closed-fine opening-coarse opening.

The selectable hole sizes make this perfect!

This is very versatile. We purchased this for sprinkling fiber powder on our kitty food but I can see how this could be used for a variety of small textures such as powders, granules, seeds,... Nice size jar too.

Works great!

I use mine for Barkeepers Friend and Borax because they provide a cleaner look so I don't mind them on my counters in the kitchen. Highly recommend.

Love the clear glass

Love the glass because I keep them near my stove & the heat would melt the plastic store containers & labels get so messed up. These are easy to see through or label with decals & easy to clean & fill.

Great product, not the most ideal for fine sea salt

I got this for my mother because she doesn't have the hand strength to use salt grinders anymore. There can be some occasional challeges with the grains of the salt staying in the holes, but it's easy enough to resolve. My mother is like Goldilocks in that she finds that the salt comes out either too slow or too fast as opposed to just right, but she doesn't complain about hand pain, which was my goal.

Works with granular sugar

This shaker is used in my home espresso setup. It holds granular sugar and shakes out evenly under its widest holes. I’m thinking of buying another for dusting cinnamon as the hole size is variable. Great product for my needs.

Perfect

I have wasted lots of money on useless salt & pepper shakers. They all had problems. And then I saw these. I hesitated to buy for months, due to my previous S & P shaker experiences. Bought them finally & they are Just Perfect!!! Easy to clean, no uneven cap, no sharp edges, big enough holes for coarse pepper, & the holes are adjustable! They are a really good size, good weight, not flimsy. I might buy a few more for other seasonings. Love them.

Expensive but also high quality

When it's closed not a single dust will drop out, and when you twist the top it has the most satisfying "snap" at 2 stops for big and small holes. It feels so good almost like a fidget toy.
