Was Great And Then..

I purchased the Oxo Good Grips Accent Mess-Free Sea Salt and Pepper Grinder set on June the 17th, 2022. I received the grinders a few days latter. I have used them daily to put salt and pepper on my food. Approximately eight months latter I was grinding some salt for my food when the entire black bottom part fell off of the clear plastic part - you can see in pictures. The black part will not stay on now. Salt went all over my counter and floor. I have filled out OXO warranty paper and submitted it to them. Right now I am only giving three stars overall because the product failed in less than a year, which at the price for the grinders, they should last a long time. If OXO replaces the product under warranty, then I will come back and edit this post/review. I thought I had found my dream grinders because of the little fill from the bottom slots that you unscrew the filling cap from. Never did I expect the entire bottom to come off while using it. EDIT/UPDATE: I filled out and submitted the warranty claim form on the OXO website. They sent me a new salt grinder and it arrived today. I have upgraded from three stars to five stars because they stood behind their product and replaced it.

OXO Good Grips Salt and Pepper Grinder Set,

I love these grinders. They are the perfect size, operate smoothly, and are easy to fill. I love the top dispensary; it is a brilliant idea, and the fact that it's not at the bottom—no more salt and pepper deposits on my countertop. I give it an A+ grade for function and satisfaction. I use them every day, and I would definitely purchase these again.

This is honestly the BEST grinders that I have ever used. I've had many grinders -- even electric battery ones...they are crap. These are the best, great design and no mess.

I really liked these grinders. What I liked best was the fact that the grinders are on top. No more salt and pepper deposits on my counter top. They also look nice and are easy to fill and use.

Pretty solid and great quality.

I shopped around for a salt and pepper mill set and settled on these as they were on amazon warehouse deals for under the retail cost, so I grabbed them. They're nice and compact and hold a decent amount of salt and pepper. I like how easy it is to adjust how large or fine I want the salt and pepper ground to. Also, despite the fact they're small, they hold a lot more than you'd think. The clear part is a pretty thick acrylic, which is honestly preferable so they don't risk shattering when dropped. I would have preferred glass for the price, but the durability of the acrylic is better in regards to durability. These mills also have a nice weight to them. I also like the fact the grinder is at the top instead of the bottom, as it makes them mess-free. Overall, pretty happy with them and the quality. I've had them for a while now and I still enjoy using them, and I've still yet to refill them.Obviously there are better out there, but these are perfect for a small kitchen and I'm very happy with them.

Very strong and great quality

These really are great quality. I don't normally pay that much for a salt and pepper pot but my others were looking a bit tatty. These are great. No mess on the table and easy to use. I love the way you can easily turn up the grain size as I like it finer than the rest of the family so we use it a lot. Look great on the table and work well. Highly recommended.

Sturdy salt and pepper shaker

Typical Oxo product Well built, well thought out, and stiff price. But you gotta pay for quality, and for a salt and pepper shaker I would say these are the best I have owned. Not particularly exciting, wont revolutionize your life - but when you get the salt and pepper you wont be fretting it working or not.

The dial's the thing. but the output volume is kind of weak

Got these a week or so ago, to usurp my huge traditional salt and pepper mills which were slow, messy and hard to select coarseness. The coarseness dial is excellent. It works well for choosing how fine or coarse you want the grind to be. The mess elimination is good too. The volume output for the pepper is too slow for my liking. It is a minor niggle but I often need a lot of fine pepper and this one still takes more effort and time than I would like. The price seems pretty steep at 70 cdn for the pair, but with the innovative dial maybe they have something unique worth paying for right now.

Great product

Perfect size, they operate smoothly and the coarse adjustment control is really convenient for quick selection. Top dispensary is a brilliant idea, no mess. Easy fill and see through, there is nothing to dislike about these Salt and Pepper mills. I use them every day and I would definitely purchase these again.
