Neat Lamp, Nice Desk Piece

It's a cool 'decorate it yourself' style lamp. It has little stickers of blocks to build out your world. I really just wanted something that lights up and was Minecraft flavored for my desk and this ticked all the boxes. I've ordered other Paladone products in the past and this is the same great quality as the rest of the stuff they make in my opinion.

Fun for Minecraft fans

My kids are big Minecraft fans and this was a hit. They had fun making it and were so proud to display it in their room. This would be a wonderful gift.

Cool Twist on a Current Trend

I keep seeing lights like this everywhere - the holographic thing. It's a lamp base which shoots light up into an acrylic sheet. For the holographic versions, lines etched in the acrylic spring to light in whatever color the lamp is set on (or multicolor, if you go for that). My son has an axolotl version. This is a clever twist on that - taking the world of Minecraft and allowing kids to use this platform to make their own light. In your box, you'll get the lamp base, the acrylic sheet (already stamped with a bit of Minecraft ground and sky), sheets of stickers, and a charging cable. If you plan on leaving it plugged in (which we will), you will need a wall charger or powered USB base of some kind. But what a cool idea! It allows your kid to personalize something that can be quite mundane AND represent the brand without being another bit of clutter.

Great gift for Minecrafter

My 5 and 8 year old boys love Minecraft and were excited to decorate this lamp. They worked together well for quite a while to create their masterpiece and still had plenty of stickers leftover. You don’t need any batteries if you plan to plug it in, but you will need a USB adapter plug (it only comes with the USB cord). The cord is a good length if you want to set it up on a dresser or bookshelf. Otherwise it takes 3AA batteries. It looks pretty cool, maybe a little overpriced but isn’t all Minecraft stuff?

Awesome Lamp - But Order One More Thing

Fantastic gift for any Minecraft fan. Though if you do get it, there's one more thing you should consider adding to your cart before you check out. More on that in a moment. In the meantime, I'll say that my Wife and I are really happy that our Daughter enjoyed this surprise gift from us. Our Little Girl plays Minecraft on her Switch. Creative Mode, not Survival. Though she's familiar with what Survival mode is like. She was so thrilled when she saw that she would be able to decorate the lamp herself. We decorated it together, going by her instructions. Then when it was done, put in some batteries to light it up. It does come with a USB option to power it on. But we had the three AA batteries available. Which does bring me to an important point. Before you order, make sure you have AA batteries handy. Or at least add a pack of them to your shopping cart, before you check out. If you order this lamp as a gift for someone, you may want to add a small pack of batteries for them to use, in case they don't have any. Saves them a trip to the store to get more. The lamp looks great. And our Daughter loves that she basically got to decorate something on her own, that she can keep in her room. So my Wife and I would definitely recommend this to other parents. Although it's a great gift for Minecraft fans of any age.
