This is a great leash, nice thich leather I owned another one of their leashes which was ruined by my 90lbs bulldog chewing on it. I like everthing about the leash. the reason for the 4 out of 5 was the designs of the "KNOT" it slips, the leash works just fine but it doesn't look like as it comes in for long. As soon as the leather softens up it slips. But that doesn't effect the quality or the use of the leash.

I would suggest getting one size thinner and I think it would be just as sturdy for those with dainty hands and big dogs

The strap is very wide, making it slightly difficult to hold for my little hands. I would suggest getting one size thinner and I think it would be just as sturdy for those with dainty hands and big dogs. Otherwise, it is very strong and I trust it will hold up to my strong German Shepherd, who occasionally likes to playfully chew on it.

Quality leather

I was looking for a strong thick leather leash and couldn't find one locally. The one's I found in the local stores felt cheap. This is definitely thick, heavy leather. The only thing I don't love about the leash is the large knot behind the clip. It makes the end of the leash pretty bulky but it is definitely strong.

This is a NICE leash

I've been pretty thrilled with this leash, because it's comfortable enough to hold and is also very sturdy. I have a 90 lb. German Shepherd Dog and, well, let's just say her walking manners are something of a work in progress -- my fault on that -- but the key thing is the leash really holds up well! It's got some heft without being cumbersome; this thickness is perfect for me. It's a nice color, too, and I think it looks real sharp with a matching collar.

Nice strong leash

Very nice beautiful leash and exactly as described. Looks really great when I'm trying to walk my dog. My dog is not appreciating it as much as I do though because all he seems to want to do is pull so I will say that it's very very strong held up very well against my pitbull shepherd mix.
