Review

This corkscrew is an excellent tool for removing Corks from wine bottles. Although pricey, it is well made and should last a very long time. The tool is constructed of metal parts and its unique style gives the feel of compfort and ease during the cork removal process. Would recommend this Corkscrew to all wine enthusiasts.

Defective Product and Did not Honor Request for Refund

The description of product packaging, style/appearance of box and additional cork worm was not correct. Box was slightly damaged in the shipping. The device is inoperable: Cannot pull back lever to prepare for removal of cork and cannot pull cork out with lever because the amount of strength to remove it is astronomical. I gave this product as a gift and receiver returned to me because the device is inoperable. On January 31, 2021 I contacted seller for a refund (last day to return) per Big Kitchen's request to contact them at Amazon Support prior to contacting Amazon, because they want to satisfy their customers. Big Kitchen denied my request and did not even offer a replacement. I believe I am entitled to a return. I do not recommend the product and certainly do not recommend Big Kitchen as a vendor. The old rule of caveat emptor certainly applies to Big Kitchen and Baltaz Corkscrew.

Not cheap, but one of the easiest ways you can ever get wine open outside of a mounted electric one

I bought this as a gift for my mother - and so far whenever I've gone over, I've seen how happy my parents are to use it, and how incredibly simple it is to open a bottle of wine with it without any effort. I am still generally of the opinion that a waiters corkscrew will do you best for a nice easy and portable wine opener, but this is hands down the least effort to ever open wine I've come across yet.

Better than the Rabbit

We have been through a few 'Rabbit' wine openers now. In our experience, they work for about two years (nowhere near the 20,000 corks that the company claims) and then they fall apart. We had a pretty decent knockoff version that lasted about the same amount of time. This Peugeot feels much more solid in its construction. It's more expensive but it opens the wine bottles smoothly and easily and it doesn't feel wobbly and chintzy.

Très cher pour un produit de mauvaise qualité

Il y a du jeu dans le mécanisme, on n'a pas du tout une impression de qualité/fiabilité en utilisant ce tire bouchon. Après 8 ans, le plastique a très mal vieillit et est devenu collant. A ce tarif j'aurais espéré des matériaux de meilleure qualité.

Korkenziehen geht mit dem Gerät spielend leicht und macht Spaß. Die Qualität ist äußerst stabil, die Verarbeitung einwandfrei. Außerdem schaut es auch noch chick aus. Ob die Spirale eine Schwachstelle ist, kann ich noch nicht einschätzen. Die standardmäßige Lieferung einer Ersatzspirale mit dem Gerät deutet darauf hin... Auf die super-stylische Verpackung hätte ich zugunsten eines kleineren Preises gerne verzichtet, manche bewahren den Korkenzieher aber womöglich darin auf und freuen sich darüber. Alles ok.
