Nice faucets, but you need the right tools to make the install easier

If you're reading these reviews you have noticed that a lot of people found these a pain to install. This is largely because the hot and cold water valves are secured by 38mm (which is almost exactly 1 1/2") nuts. Generally, most people don't have a 1 1/2" deep socket. I didn't and I made do with one of these Channellock "WideAzz" adjustable wrenches: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001I70C34?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details It worked but it wasn't fun. I also tried a 38mm Crow's foot socket. It did not work at all. I would recommend getting one of these Valfluids socket wrenches: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08VS7QF7R?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details I ordered one but it arrived a day after the faucet set and I was too impatient to wait. It would have made the undersink nut a breeze to access. You'll also want a plumbers adjustable wrench that opens even wider than 1 1/2" to hold the top of the valves. You can use something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Adjustable-Lightweight-Aluminum-Washbasin-Disassembly/dp/B07SQ1KSL2/ref=sr_1_33?crid=1C666SC0RMKQA&keywords=plumbing+wrench&qid=1679596417&sprefix=plumbing+%2Caps%2C102&sr=8-33 The last piece of advice is that you scope out your connections. This Pfister set does not come with hoses. It uses 1/2 X 14 connections direct to the water valves. These are fairly common connections and you may not need hoses. I did and sourced some that went from the Pfizer fittings to 3/8 compression fittings. The 3/8 compression fittings are another common size. Short adapters are also available. So, to wrap this up, the Pfister faucet set is great, very nicely made and it looks great. If you have the right tools, it's not hard to install. Without them, it's a real pain. Fortunately, the proper wrenches are not expensive and can be had from Amazon.

Beautiful, Great Quality, Little Hard to Install

Worth the money. I installed four of these units in my house and they look beautiful. It was a little tricky to install since standard size tools don't work well. It was difficult to get the handles aligned. Overall however, I would highly recommend this faucet.

Beautiful quality faucet that isn't long enough

A quality faucet with the style I was going for. Subtracting one star because the faucet doesn't reach far enough into the sink. I have to cram my hands against the back wall of the sink to get them under the water flow. Perhaps something to do with the size of my sink. Be sure to understand the dimensions before you order. Otherwise no complaints.

Rough installation

They look nice but the nuts that secure the faucets underneath are big and very tough to tighten in a cramped space. I bought several tools but could never fully tighten them or get them to align correctly

Hot faucet handle came broke

Hot faucet handle came broke on one of the 2 I bought. Having to go through manufacturer to get replacement parts.

Definitely a nice upgrade

The media could not be loaded. We are still installing. Install has taken a while with the tight space my husband and I are working with. Everything seemed to fit according to our sink dimensions. No additional tools or pieces needed. It was time for an upgrade, we live in Texas and have the hardest, dirtiest water so the previous faucet from 10 years ago was corroded. Looks great, matches all the new brushed nickel hardware we upgraded too also. With that being said, my ultimate goal for any new item is for it to last at least 10 years. I don't want to be inconvenienced with untimely and expensive repairs or replacement. Couldn't get the left side to align, had to get some additional tool so all in all it tool 3 days for installation.

This was a nice finishing touch that didn’t cost too much for a basic bathroom redo on a budget! Classic yet modern so designed to match a variety of decor in the lavatory!
