For occasional needs, it's the perfect high visibility rain coat ...

First, it isn't exactly "light". The material is fairly heavy being PVC coated fabric. However, it should hold up well and resist tears from branches or other normal snags. It's not the $100+ utility lineman rain coat but it would take a sharp piece of metal or similar snag to tear it. The coat also has some smart design features, like the "double layer" along the snaps on the closure. That feature provides a under layer beneath the snaps to keep rain from sneaking through. Having used it a couple of times on camping trips, the snaps are well placed to keep the rain out while still making it easy to put on and take off. For sizing, I'm 6'1" 185 lbs with a 42" chest and long arms. The medium hits just below my knees and the sleeves fall right between my wrists and thumbs. I have worn light jackets beneath the rain coat and still have plenty of freedom of movement. I'm sure the large size would have been like a tent on me. Overall, I just don't see how I could have done better on the value and utility of this raincoat. It works perfectly for those occasions when I know I'm going to be outdoors and there's a good chance of rain.

Awesome Rain Coat

I read the many rave reviews and was still shocked by the high quality design and workmanship of this $14 coat. It's rainy season on the Oregon coast and we plan to hike the trails and stroll the beach, rain or shine. This coat would probably keep me dry even if I worked on a fishing boat in gale force winds. So it far exceeds my needs and expectations for a relaxing seaside vacation. It is designed with carefully considered "work gear" standards and features: "storm sturdy" construction to prevent leakage, including a covered vent in the back for breathability, snaps at the wrists to keep rain out, a snuggy cloth neck collar, a cinchable hood, large pockets with generous cover flaps on the front and envelope snaps down the front will definitely keep me dry. I'm 5'4", 170 lbs and a medium size is large enough for a sweatshirt underneath with room to spare. It hits me about mid calf, which I wanted for possible blowing rain. Huge!

Although I’m a small, I still bought it thinking it “wouldn’t be THAT big on me”. Lord was I wrong. It was gigantic on me! I ended up giving it to my bf who wears medium but it was still huge on him! If you usually wear a large, maybe stick to the medium? Idk, it was also pretty heavy. I wish I would have returned it to get my money back since neither of us ended up wearing it but oh well.

Great product but shopping

Perfect for my Six and Mono costume for Halloween. The only issue is with shipping, it took 6 days to ship when it said 2 day shipping. So just be aware of that.

Rain coat with pockets you cant use or they tear off

The coat is great for its pength and the price is decent. But the pockets are so flumsy that if you put your hands in them, they tear off . The pockets on mine tore off and I had to cover the resulting holes in the coat with packing tape to keep the rain coat comlletely waterproof. This coat should not have pockets.

Roomy, Bright Raincoat

Nice bright yellow raincoat roomy enough to wear a sweater underneath, and good length for overall cover. Just what I was looking for. Classic yellow, good safety feature for walking on our narrow road.

Ludicrously large but good value if it fits

I knew from looking at reviews that this coat was going to be big, but thought I’d chance it anyway because it was so affordable. I wish they made this in a smaller size. The medium is comically large and long. I’m 5’ and it went down to my ankles (which is fine, I would likely stay very dry in this coat). But it was just too huge and bulky and I wouldn’t want to be caught dead wearing it :). The material seems durable. Just a note for anyone wanting to take this on any sort of trip - it is heavy. It folds down into a 6” by 10” (ish) bag but it clocks in at ~3 lbs which makes it not very practical to lug around when not in use. Giving it 3 stars because the material and affordability of this coat are great, but the sizing just makes it completely impractical for normal use.

Calidad

The media could not be loaded. ES INCREÍBLE, para ser sincera, lo compré para usarlo de disfraz de Coraline ya que era el más similar que encontré y que llegaba a tiempo, no creí que me fuera a sorprender tanto, la calidad del material es increíble, gruesa y resistente, tiene respiradores en la parte de la espalda y unos botones para abrochar las mangas LLEGÓ EN UN DÍA!!!! Me queda largo, pero solo lo doblo un poco y ya queda :D definitivamente le daré más usos, no solo para el disfraz 10000000 por ciento recomendado

Too big!

Quality is amazing and same with the packaging, I can tell you that! The coat came in really quick too, not too long of a wait. However, I've ordered a men's size medium and it definitely was NOT a medium. I am a men's small but medium was the smallest they had and the coat was way too big on my brother who is a men's large. I was SWIMMING in this coat, I had to trim the bottom and roll the sleeves. Just be careful when choosing your sizes!

Fell apart after two weeks

I was so happy to get this coat, I’ve been looking everywhere foe a long rain coat. I love the look of it, but it started falling apart after about 1 week. Little bits of yellow ‘leather’ keep coming off it, leaving open holes in the fabric. At the moment, 2 weeks after purchasing it, there’s roughly 20 patches that have come off. What a shame, I love the look of it, but it’s very cheaply made.

Just like description. Good product

Bought for Halloween costume. We cut it shorter to fit, and it was easily altered without ruining it. Smells like plastic (no surprise). Quite waterproof. Good sturdy plastic though. Will not fall apart any time soon

Gran compra

Es un gran artículo, y por el precio es más de lo que se puede pedir. Lo probé en una lluvia moderada y funciona a la perfección, mido 1.78, complexión delgada, y me quedó perfecto, teniendo en cuenta que va por encima de la ropa.
