Nice idea, but...

I purchased this product as a birthday present for my boyfriend to use on the husky we bought together as he is a major Corvette fan. When I placed the order I knew a medium should be large enough as our husky is rather lanky and "wolfy." That was not the case. I had reservations at first about ordering this product because of the latch on the collar that could easily be pressed and released if our dog ever got away. Let me tell you now, that will not be an issue. The seatbelt portion of the collar is just decoration and it actually must slip over your dogs head to be tightened there and then the buckle is snapped closed. I'm glad I tried to put it on our dog before wrapping it because, even at its largest, the collar barely slipped back over my dog's head. I was terrified I would have to cut it off. This collar would be a chore to take on and off your dog if you don't leave collars on your dog at all times. (I tend not to do that as our dogs have gotten caught in each other's collars while playing once before and almost choked each other. Had I not been around to unsnap my dog's collar, she likely would have choked to death. And this collar would not be easy to remove in a similar situation.) Because of this, I may not reorder the collar in a large and simply send it back. The cool factor is high, but I don't feel the concept was put into practice as well as it could have been.

JUST OK

A LITLE WIDE (I KNEW IT WAS 1" BUT THOUGHT I WOULD TRY ANYWAY). I WOULDN'T USE UT ON A SMALL DOG, AS IT IS PRETTY HEAVY.
