Good dog deterrent.
I read many other reviews and chose this product because it was smelly. In my neighborhood, the dog walkers think it is their right to use any lawn as their personal toilet. My thought was that maybe this would be a natural deterrent. I put a drop at critical points at the edge of the lawn, and so far there has been great success. The dogs seem to now avoid my lawn. It does need to be reapplied weekly or after a rain. Worth the price, and I will repurchase as needed.

Scent doesn't last long
This has to be the worst thing I have ever smelled in my life. My dog smelled it once and threw up on the kitchen floor. Now she is terrified of the bottle. I took that as a good sign since I bought this to keep all the dogs from using my lawn as a toilet, but it dissipates too quickly to be effective. I put it on at night. Every dog in the neighborhood started barking hysterically within minutes the first time I put this down on a windy night, so I thought this was going to be an easy fix. It is mildly effective for the morning dog walkers, but the afternoon crowd doesn't seem to mind it. I don't know if the dogs became accustomed to it or it just loses the scent quickly, but now they don't really care. I know someone that works in a home improvement store and he recommended the pellet form instead of liquid, so I will have to try that instead.

Did nothing for groundhogs
This didn’t work at all for groundhogs. Used the full bottle around entrances and burrows. Soaked a rag in coyote pee and put it an a perforated container. Next morning saw the biggest groundhog to date. Save your money if you’re buying this product for groundhogs. Let me know what works if you have any groundhog suggestions.

Milford CT Beaches on summers nights were unbearable due to skunks. The Coyotes have thinned them out nicely & beach rats
I mixed this with water and sprayed it every where were dogs were peeing on my plants, in my raised beds that cats kept using as a litter box. I sprayed it on my garden veggies that were being nibbled on and I'm care free now. I would like to know that these animals are treated ethically. I love Coyotes. My upscale neighborhood was covered with rats at night. The beach was loaded with rats eating trash. One day I was walking my dog and saw two coyotes chasing after rats. We know longer have a rat problem. We had over populations of skunks, racoons, etc and they seem to be in manageable numbers now. All summer long for 10 yrs the skunks were unbearable. The Coyotes have thinned them out nicely. Nature is in balance again.

Keeping cat away - glad for its safety.
Am using to try to keep neighbor's new adventuresome (stupid!) young cat from entering my backyard via a front rockery, where my medium sized dogs would love to ummm, visit it? Seems to be working; haven't seen (delightful) youngster adverturing since using this. I have repeated a number of times. Yes, it does "stink." (Of course it does; that is the point.) Four stars because it (seems to) takes quite a bit.

Not sure it worked for us.
We have chickens and therefore have a rodent problem. They managed to sneak into the house through the garage. And we were looking for a way to deter them from coming back in once we eliminated the problem outside. This product is very very very stinky, as one would expect. But other than the dogs being really interested in it it didn't seem to deter the past

Didnt work
Used the cloth 'keys' to absorb the urine before distributing amongst a few trees and pouring the rest around the perimeter. One week later and I've seen opposum on my front deck twice.

Worked on chipmunks
Tried mothballs first. Stopped the voles, but didn't stop the chipmunks. Tried Fox urine, but din't stop the chipmunks. Used the Coyote urine, and no more chipmunks. I wonder if they knew the chipper dipper was next....
