Identical to What our Community Pool Sells

This is the same pool chair that our community sells, but for half the price! It takes a little while to get all the straps adjusted and fitted properly for your size and weight so that you don't tip over, but once you have this done, it's all about the relaxation! Even has a cup holder. Wonderful way to spend a lazy afternoon enjoying the water.

Favorite Pool Purchase of 2015!!!

I obviously did not read the product information correctly, as I assumed this was filled with floating "foam" that was used to hold you up, however when the product arrived in this little box, I was let down to see that it was inflatable and you just blew up the little arms and head rest. I was a little miffed at myself for not reading it correctly, but being a person who can not be counted on to ever return anything, I decided to go ahead and blow it up, toss it in the pool, and give it a try. My husband may argue this point, but I'm telling you I CAN admit when I am wrong :) Wow. I love this chair so much. It has become known as "Mommy's float" around my house because I am always calling dibs on it in the pool. It cradles your body perfectly so you're just enough in the water that you are cool and refreshed, feel like you're still getting some sun, AND your hair stays out (if you care about that sort of thing). I have to exercise self control or I would definitely fall asleep. It's just perfect! Moral of this story - don't judge a product by it's packaging or choose not to order this because you think it won't be comfortable. This float is fabulous! P.S. Just a PSA- if you live in a place with HONEY bees they are insanely attracted to the darker blue color of the liner of the chair. I have had to forego floating on this a few times in the middle of the day because the bees will NOT leave it alone (thankfully they don't ever sting, it just makes me too nervous to relax with them landing all over me to get to the chair). They don't mess too much with the rest of the floats in the pool, even the more brightly colored ones, but when I go outside, there are usually 15-20 bees just hanging out on my chair. I have taken to just soaking a towel and putting it over the chair to deter the bees from coming over and once I cover up the blue they do usually go away. Wasps, bumblebees, etc. don't come near it anymore than they come to anything else that I have noticed, and we have a lot of those around as well, so for us, it's ONLY been with honeybees.

Wow, so many different reviews from 1-5 stars. Wasn’t sure to buy it, but I really wanted a pool lounger that didn’t break the bank and was portable to carry in our little RV. So I ordered this one. Funny thing is it shipped in the retail box with just a mailing label on it, not put in a brown packing box... but it got here no problems. I had it out and in the pool an hour after it was delivered. The quality is good, not great, but better than expected. Easy to inflate the 4 chambers with just your mouth (2 arms, headrest and little back support) and adjust the 4 straps. At first I had the air chambers pumped full and hard... but that floated me pretty high out of the water, and I found it was more comfortable to let some air out to make it softer like a pillow and let me sink a bit more into the water. I’m 190 lbs and no problems holding me up even with half filled air chambers. I love it... probably stayed in the pool too long. Will it last???? I hope so. Will review the durability in a month or so of daily Florida /pool use to see how it lasts.

Holds the weight

I received this yesterday and as soon as I got it, I jumped in the pool. After reading several reviews and being worried about the "weight limits," i went ahead and ordered it. I'm not going to lie, I weigh 312 pounds and am 6 foot tall. I put air in it, jumped up on it and literally floated around the pool for about an hour with no problems. I have a 24 foot 48 inch deep above ground pool. Not one time did I have to put air back into the float nor did I ever sink. It was almost like I was just floating on the water with no assistance. I would recommend this to anyone. The material is fast drying and feels durable.

Just the float I was looking for

While most pool floats have you floating on top of the water, I wanted one that would put a good amount of your body in the water so you could enjoy actually being in the pool. THis float allows that, while keeping your upper torso, head, and arms out of the water so you can also enjoy the sun. I've had it about a year and it's still going strong, no rips or tears in the fabric, just a small amount of sun fade. I weigh about 230, so it can hold a good amount of weight.

If you have a small pool these are the absolute best Floaties ever.

I mean, would I like a cup holder? Yes. But we have a small pool and a lot of friends so these are absolutely perfect. They are adjustable so my 6 foot three husband is comfortable and my 5 foot 4 frame is able to enjoy this float as well. I love the option to be able to recline on the headrest and relax or sit up and socialize. I really did not expect like these floats but I would absolutely buy them again.

My teenagers fight over this chair!

I bought this to add to our water chair collection (we only have one other water chair). I was looking for a different chair that was sold out everywhere, but decided to try this one out since I couldn't find the other one. This one is now the favorite! It took a while to blow up even with an electric pump, so plan ahead. I blew it up in my house prior to going to the pool, so it wasn't a huge deal (I gave it 4 stars due to the time it took to blow up). My kids love that you can recline all the way back in this chair and float around the pool. You'd think it would be a little awkward with it being in sections and just straps connecting them, but it's very comfortable in the pool. It should be easy to store over the winter because I can just deflate it. I'm so glad I ordered this!

Hell yeah I would recommend.

The Poolmaster 70742 water chair exceeded my expectation. After reading multiple reviews I had zero expectations they would be any good. I bought more as a gag gift for myself and a buddy to use at his lake house. I am a big dude! 6’3 and 330lbs. After 5 or 6 uses it is holding together just great. Don’t get me wrong. I am not going to put my life on the line in more than 10-15’ of water depth but it keeps me buoyant enough to embarras the hell out of my teenage daughter in front of her friend's. Stitching is holding on for dear life but no signs or ripping. I would recommend these chairs.

Comfort and portability.

Purchased 2 chairs for using at home in our swimming pool . We found them to be very comfortable , partly due to a broad adjustment range . They deflate and fold small enough to fit in luggage . Used on vacations . I weigh over 200 lbs. and the chair keeps me afloat without issue . I would recommend the Poolmaster brand of this chair .

Great for the Pool

This item works great for either sitting or lying down in the pool. I've had other models which gradually sank, but this model works very well. It hasn't lost air nor has it ripped. Sturdy and efficient.

Great floating chair
