Good for low arch support.
This gives good support for my low arch. If you need to trim to make it fit, only trim a little at a time. !/8 in. You can't put it back on so only a little at a time. I will probably buy another pair so I don't have to switch it to other shoes.

Worth a try if you have Plantar Fasciitis
I have been suffering from PF and a wicked heel spur for about 9 months now. I have tried all sorts of inserts, arch banadages, KURU shoes, night splints, the pro-stretch and various exercises. So far I have been able to keep the pain in check, but I am not at the point where I can run more than 20 yards without some serious discomfort. Most PF sufferers have flat feet and over pronate, I have high arches and supinate. The Powerstep Pinnacle is a decent insert worth the money IMO. Its basically a 3/4 inch hard plastic orthotic glued inside a foam insole and I use it in a pair of Brooks running shoes with no fit issues. The foam part of the insole seems like an afterthought and quite a few companies do a better job of cushioning, but the combined effect with the orthotic makes up for any short comings. and The arch support feels a bit odd at first. In fact there was quite a bit of discomfort for me the first day in my injured foot and none in the healthy foot. The arch support feels ball like and centered in the middle of the foot. I am actually yearning for more support at the my arches highest point in the inside of the foot. I am thinking this insole may be better for the folks with flat feet and over-pronantion. For folks like me its a decent solution, but not a magic cure. I can be on my feet most of the day without any pain although running is still a distant goal. All in all its worth a try if you are suffering. If you are not suffering then I recommend that you use quality insoles to prevent injury. Update 12/9/10 - I have dropped my rating from 4 stars to 3 due to lack of durability. I have had these less than two months and have used them for about a month in that timeframe. The fabric on the top of the insole is peeling away at the heel about an inch and a half. Because the fabric is pulling away the foam around the heel is beginning to crumble and break off. The right insole is worse than the left at the moment but the left is going down the same path of disintegration. The adhesive connecting the fabric is inadequate, ineffective or was improperly applied IMO. I do think this is a good product from a functional standpoint, but the durability is not impressive. It is possible that I have a defective pair, but I imagine they make right insoles and left insoles in different batches and I am experiencing the same issue with both. I would expect this product to be designed to last 6 month at a minimum, but I have a hard time imagining them lasting 3 months.

I Like These Better Than Superfeet Blue
I decided to try these orthotic inserts out after spending 6 months using Superfeet Blue inserts to help alleviate pain in my left heel and arch from plantar faciitis. The Superfeet Blues were fine as an everyday alternative to the regular removable footbeds in most of my shoes, but for the dress-ier shoes that I wear at work 5 days-a-week, the Superfeet simply did not offer enough cushioning to provide any relief. I decided to try something else and arrived at the Powerstep Pinnacle. I am pleased thus far. I've used them for about a week in my work shoes and have noted the following: a. They provide much more cushion than the Superfeet, particularly in the heel. b. They are thicker and slightly wider than the Superfeet and take up more room in the shoe. c. The arch bump is larger than in the Superfeet Blue and takes a little getting used to. d. They do not squeak nearly as much as the Superfeet inserts (good grief this was annoying). The biggest difference is the material. The Powerstep inserts are made with a softer, but more voluminous foam material. The Superfeet Blue are made from a thinner, but much more rigid foam. They also have a hard plastic heel stabilizer on the bottom which, yes, does offer heel support, but does nothing whatsoever to relieve pain. If anything, it made the repetitive impact on the heel from each step worse. My own experience has been that the Superfeet Blue are OK, but not terribly effective for addressing my plantar fasciitis. After a week's time, the Powerstep Pinnacle has provided immediate relief from the pain and, hopefully, will put me on the road to recovery.

Best I've tried so far
I was a loyal Spenco Total Support Max user until I tried these. The biggest difference I've found is that the arch support is much longer in these insoles than others; it extends further into the forefoot. Even without having any sort of metatarsal pad these inserts are the best I've found for the issues I have with the second metatarsal in my right foot. I can play hours of tennis/pickleball and the metatarsal head isn't sore at all afterwards.

Cured my plantar fasciitis. If you have high arches, try this product!
I’m a technician at a dealership so I walk on concrete the entire day. In my mid 20s I developed very sore feet/heels. After some research I found that I have plantar fasciitis and I have high arches. I’ve tried 6 different insoles in the last year, although some helped, none would completely take away the dull pain I would have every evening after work. I’ve been using this product for a month now and it has done wonders for my feet. My plantar fasciitis was so bad that I would limp and hobble around my house every single night.. I no longer have this problem. Obviously insoles are not going to cure my condition completely but 90% of my pain is gone at night. During the day while using these insoles I no longer feel ANY pain or soreness. If you have high arches and struggle with plantar fasciitis, heel spurs or just sore feet, try this product! Worth the money

Caused Increased Pain
I read the positive reviews and decided to give these a try to relieve my plantar fasciitis. They caused much soreness to my arches, but I thought I just needed to get used to them and tough it out. Finally, after 3 weeks, I couldn't take the pain they caused so switched to the Currex brand at Running Room, which were much more comfortable. Maybe the Powersteps are ok for someone with high arches, but mine are neutral or medium. I cannot see how the same arch support can work for everyone's arch - flat, medium, or high. I can't imagine the pain these would cause someone with flat feet. Did not work for me.
