excellent vent line for a bathroom fan

The dummies who installed my office bathroom fan used a 4" flexible foil tube to vent it to the roof. They tried to use foil tape to bridge the gap to the 3" output of the fan. 9 years later, I got up in the suspended ceiling and noticed that most of air was just blowing around that dead space. It is much easier for air to blow through that gap than to go the extra ten feet to make it to the roof. This fits perfectly on the plastic 3" fan output and also on the 3 to 4" adapter. The stiffness of the tube makes it bend perfectly towards the roof vent. I want to find more uses for this excellent tube!

Nice stuff

Warning, I drilled my opening with a 3 inch hole saw, and this hose would not go through the hole. I needed a 3 1/8" hole for a squeeze fit, or a 3 1/4" hole for a slide fit. I am using it with an inline 12Vdc bilge vent fan. It went on the fan intake and exhaust flanges so tightly, I did not need any clamps (but it did go on). Not cheap, but looks like it should last. Not sure it is fuel proof, so I would not splash fuel on it.

Works!

I am using this in my woodturning shop. I previously used black tubing with the vacuum system. This is much easier to see any clogs - and in fact seems to clog less often - and provides great suction. Would definitely purchase again.

Worked perfect

I have an old grinder that works great but was in desperate need of a new hose. This was way too long but the perfect width and I wanted clear. I simply cut it to size and saved the rest, for what I don’t know. Works great!

Powermatic pm2000 dust collector replacement

I replaced the dust collection hose inside my Powermatic pm2000 table saw. The one that came with the saw was two stiff so when I would tilt the blade it would pull it loose and get saw dust inside the cabinet. This one works great! The coils are backwards from the original so it wouldn’t thread on like the original, but not a problem as it pulls right over the threads and stays put.

I liked the quality. Durable for my bath vent!

Just the perfect vent I needed for a bathroom remodel. Strong, durable walls that are nice and thick. I used a short piece to flex about the exterior good to bath fan damper. I measured it perfect for a consistent stretch, no wrinkles. Had the fart fun run for a test. Great air flow through a few feet. This vs metal flex that will corrode. This will need to be in a wall until the earth splits open. Just what I wanted for hopefully a very long service life.

Flexible 3" air hose for Powermatic saw

Like another reviewer here, I was looking for a replacement hose for a Powermatic PM2000 table saw. This is it! The answer to the problem of the factory hose being waaaay too stiff, falling off every time the blade is tilted. Perfect solution....highly recommended if you need flexible material.
