We got this cooker for camping to save on cooking fuel and time to cook!

used on our camping cook stove and worked great. The lid is a little difficult to close, must push down on lid edges and if it is hot need to use pot holders. just have to learn the process for closing. cooked pork chops in 15 minutes. Cooked wild rice in 15 minutes! I can use the bottom as a skillet, so saves space for packing the kitchen gear. I would like to see accessories available, like a steam tray for the bottom to hold items up off the bottom.

But good enough, as I wanted a shallow pressure cooker

Pressure pan looks well made. Only time will tell how durable it is. Just got it! For those of you,who are wondering about its capacity: it is 4 liters ( written on the box). The capacity of the pan (without lid) is around 3 liter to the brim. The lid is around 1.5 inches deep and thus adds another liter.The pan is 3 inches deep without lid. So overall, very small in usable capacity as compared to my Hawkins 4 litre pressure cooker. But good enough, as I wanted a shallow pressure cooker,not deep one. Will update after using the product.

Lacking Quality Construction and finish

I liked the size of this pressure cooker by the quality of it was terrible. Noisy, leaky, and sharp edges make it less desirable than other more expensive pressure cookers. I don't recommend this product.

Nice!

Works for what we need it for! I’m Indian so we’re getting a lot of use out of it. It works well and no complaints so far - we’ve had it for about 3 weeks now.

Very hard to close the lid

Item description shows 1.5 liter. On the bottom of the product says 4 lit. Very hard to close. Cheaply made handle & it doesn’t have the prestige quality that you buy it from the store. Why sell fake & charge too much???

Overall nice product

The pressure indicator can be done away with. It hardly serves any purpose and can be easily damaged or misplaced while cleaning. Rest is good!

Pukka pan

✔ The wide base allows one to cook food evenly ✔ From the day I bought this pan till now I'm making briyani only in this pan because it doesn't burn my food. (The secret is 2 whistle on high flame and 1 on medium flame for basmati, seeraga samba and ponni rice) ✔ Its little difficult to make one pot rice in tall cooker (prestige popular) or in kinda curvy cookers(alpha deluxe) because it may result in sticking to the bottom. Prefer wide open pressure pan for even cooking of briyani recipes.
