Had to cut bolts and buy different nuts

Another review mentioned quality issues and galling. I can confirm this to be the case on THREE separate bolts. I had to drill the head out of one bolt and cut two others. I got another 1/4-20 nut locally and they performed just fine. I did receive a refund, and the satisfaction of leaving a one star review- so thanks Amazon. 3 bucks for 50 bucks worth of time.

These are good quality lock nuts. Similar to other lock nuts I have purchased at West Marine for over twice the price for this size.

crap

the nylon washer in the end of the nut is too small. it does not allow room for the bold to go through, I twisted one bold off trying to get it tight and had to cut another one off because i couldn't back out the bolt

Jambs

The nylon jams on any bolt put into this nut. The bolt can not be removed or completely tightened. I have broken two bolts just trying to remove the nut.
