Okay, with reservations: Need to size up and it's not that easy to take off...
I really like the Pro-Tec Athletics 3D Flat Premium Ankle Sleeve, which I have in size small (I'm size 6.5 Women's). I ordered this sleeve, also in size small, thinking that it would be the same but with added support from the gel pads. Unfortunately, it was way too tight (as other reviewers have noted), and I couldn't return it. The fabric is not the same as the Pro-Tec Athletics 3D Flat Premium Ankle Sleeve, even though the colors in the photos lead you to believe that it might be. It's a much tighter weave. I re-ordered the sleeve in size medium thinking that it would be a better fit. Unfortunately, it is still very tight, which makes it very difficult to take off - even somewhat painful if you have an inversion injury like I do.

it's great
i have no complaints so it so far i wear it while i play soccer anywhere from 1-4 days a week some time 1-3 games on certain days. it offer the support i need while letting me still have the flexibility i need for the sport. i wash them by hand or in the washing machine in cold water then i let them air dry. i have two ankle braces and a knee brace i like all the products for far. P.S a team mate recommend the pro- tec ankle brace to me and i plan to do the same.

ou might need a larger one!
I wear a size 9 1/2 shoe so according to the size chart for this product a medium should fit. I finally got it on my foot after wrenching my shoulder out of place pulling on this thing. Sizing is probably wrong if you are any where near the limit, go to the next bigger size. Now, the brace does give good support. Not great, but adequate. You could get as good a support with a tightly wrapped ace bandage if all you need it for is to walk. Shop around before settling on this one. Considering the price, your local pharmacy probably has at least an equal product and maybe cheaper.

It was good quality but it was very tight. I have a size 6 shoe. I couldn’t take it off myself. I had to have someone pull it off. I ordered a bigger size but it was too too tight.

It's very tight and it's very difficult to put on and also to remove it. I ordered a medium size and it's supposed to be unisex. When I saw the sizes it does not really explain if it stretches a lot. I am still trying to see if I can stretch it more so it's not so difficult to put on. Chela

Sizing is incorrect (too small)
The sizing is off on these - way too small - I could barely get them on, then they hurt like mad. I tried to return them but we were moving at the time, and they ended up getting packed instead of sent back. Not sure what I'll do with them now that the return window has passed.. probably just hold onto them in case someone smaller than me needs them later. The material seems nice, though, so I'll give them 2 stars even though the sizing keeps me from actually using them.

This product arrived quickly and well packaged. It is well made. and I like the fact that it does not enclose my toes.....That said.... I returned the sleeve. For twenty dollars for one sleeve I expected more. First, putting this on and off requires 2 sets of hands! After it is on I found it to be uncomfortable and it did nothing for my ankle. It did not stop side ways movement and it did not compress my ankle in a way to help with swelling and pain. Perhaps it would work for others, but it did not fill my need.

Great, sturdy support
I purchased this for my daughter who had injured her ankle in a fall and was experiencing some pain and swelling. She wore this around the house and also slept with it on. The construction of this sleeve if very heavy duty and sturdy -- tight enough for mobility, but not so tight as to cause discomfort. The built-in boning (?) side bracing (?) helped reduce side-to-side strain as well. Using the ankle sleeve in this way has greatly reduced the pain and the swelling, and she now has more comfort and mobility because of using this sleeve.

Sprained my ankle during a soccer match and after more than 2 weeks the swelling wasn't decreasing although I put ice every day. I knew some pressure on the zone was needed so I started looking online. I decided to purchase this one mostly based on what I read on the reviews. Certainly was an excellent choice. The ankle sleeve provides the ankle with a firm hold and in 2 days (14 hours per day) it already helped in reducing the inflammation. So now my ankle is almost healed thanks to this great product. One single piece of advise: use a thin sock underneath, otherwise you will have a very hard time putting it on and off. The sock allows the ankle sleeve to slide, making the process a little bit easier. You have been warned ;)

Very supportive
My ankles are very thin but I'm a women's 10.5, so I had to get a bigger size than I needed to get this over my foot. I use a tensor bandage to make the fit around my ankle more snug. I like the placement of the gel inserts.

Gave me confidence again for sports!
I use these for competitive soccer after rolling my ankle, and I have a long standing injury with the other one. It definitely strengthened my confidence for playing again, and eventually I only needed to wear one as my ankles got stronger. This isn't too bulky and I wore them with chin gaurds that have their own ankle protectors. If you have the floating chin gaurds, these would be a great alternative for ankle protection too.

It is way too tight to get on and remove.
I have a size 8 shoe and a medium size was recommended. Now I am told that I cannot return or replace with a larger size. Not Fair!
