theres a reason its been around for so long, great moisturizing, great smell, doesn't feel like you have a bunch of junk on your skin, real smooth, no burn, and my wife loves the way it smells and feels, real smooth, and its Italian so it has to be good..lol

A friend gave me Proraso for Christmas and I loved it so much I needed to order another bottle, and was delighted that I found it so inexpensively on Amazon. Proraso reinvigorates my whole shaving experience.

Love this stuff
I’ve been buying this version of Proraso aftershave for years. It’s gone through a couple of bottle design changes but it’s always the same creamy liquid inside. This has a very light scent that doesn’t linger very long which is a positive. There is a wonderful moisturizing tingle after application that doesn’t burn at all. I use a Nivea aftershave on the daily for just face lotion but this is my go-to for pure skin calming aftershave lotion. It has just enough viscosity to not be runny. It’s just the best! Why are you still reading this? Just buy it!!!!

I love this stuff
Although it's a little pricey for an old curmudgeon like me, this stuff is worth it to. It has a nice consistency that my face loves. In addition, my facial hair seems to like it, too. No beard dandruff! The fragrance is vintage barber shop, which is exactly what I was looking for. I'm hooked.

The Scent
I just received the bottle and the scent isn’t at all what I was expecting. First impressions are not good. I can’t really describe it, mix between sunscreen and liquid soap? I’m not sure? Definitely not expecting that from Poraso. I’ll try again and give an update. I wonder what the old scent smells like? Update: I used it again and I shook the bottle real well. The smell is still not pleasing. I'm sorry. I so wanted to enjoy this product. I love the green bottle Poraso and use it all the time. This isn't it. How did Poraso miss the mark so badly?

A great compliment to Proraso shaving soap. Cooling and very fresh.
This was a wonderful post shave balm. I used the Proraso shaving soap first, and this product complimented it perfectly. A thin balm which easily spreads across the face. A strong scent initially, which falls back very quickly. The skin is instantly cooled as the menthol gets to work. The scent reminds me of soap smell from my childhood. There are hints of pine and a herbal background. To me the smell is very refreshing, a very clean smell. Certainly not flowery or warm like vanilla. The skin after application went a little tight for a few mins which I actually liked. But after that relaxed and felt incredibly smooth and conditioned. Not at all greasy or oily. Would use again definitely.

They have changed the fragrance :-(
I've been buying this for some time now but this time around, noticed they'd changed the bottle. No problem I thought, just a bit of a face lift image wise... Wrong! They've changed the fragrance to the point where I can hardly recognise it! Gone is the strong tingly menthol after-waft, that felt so cool on your skin and instead, left is something that just reminds me of a pleasant soapy kind of smell, with none of the tingle. Why do companies insist on fixing things that aren't broken :-(

I preferred the original!
Proraso is the choice of professional barbers for a good reason - but for me, this product is not as good as the original. It still leaves the skin feeling cool and refreshed but it is a little thicker in consistency and slightly sticky. The new scent is somewhat “medical” too. I appreciate this is all personal preference but I shave my head as well as my face and I preferred the more menthol original version.

A good classic after shave balm
This particular balm is not specifically for sensitive skin but Proraso do have other ‘flavours’ inc Sensitive. My skin though is a touch sensitive but I find this Green/Refreshing product simply excellent. A light classic scent with a gentle tingle that’s truly refreshing. Moisturising and soothing - it’s a lovely finish to a wet shave.

Superb product from a superb seller
Love this light and refreshing balm from Proraso. I have an almost complete set of Proraso aftershave balms and this is my favourite. The others are all quite heavily scented which I don't always want whereas this one is barely scented at all and just provides the refreshing feeling that I'm looking for. Superb for calming any razor burn and preventing shirt collar irritation post-shave. Can't rate this seller highly enough. Buy almost all my Proraso products from them and they are faultless.
