Leaks water.
**** Update after receiving replacement - Scotch tape over the top of the light case solved the leakage problem. Considering the large illumination and reflection (really bright reflection) surface area - not a big issue to deal with. In terms of size and visibility, it's comparable with some cars' reflectors and tail lights. - For the price (3 times less than 4D Toplight installed on my another bike) is worth to purchase. The 4D Toplight has broader reflection angle due to its bow shape. The angularity of side reflector segments on RavX is rather symbolic. The two advantages that made me keep RavX: more convenient switch button and flash mode. Yes, I'd still recommend it over the tiny tail lights with no reflective feature at all. *** original review The light turns off by itself after about 5 minutes ride - in either (flash or steady) mode. Possible reason: after short ride in the rain, the light accumulated water inside.

Not a Bright Safety Light
Had to install new AA batteries, and with new batteries it is still not very bright for a LED Taillight. But it works on two modes, flashing and a steady red light. Easy to install onto our bike rack.

Item arrived damaged.
The item arrived promptly, but it had a leaking battery inside the light. Maybe it's shelf life had expired. Buyer beware.

Does what I need.
Very happy with this light on my bike rack. I commute in the early A.M. Need to be seen on the dark roads where I live. Great investment and highly recommended.

It's a solid item, I have no complaints. Swap the factory batteries for some fresh AA's and you're good to go

A good bump can turn it off.
Adding yet one more feature that I didn't know you needed to look for in bike parts. Vibration sensitivity, this stupid light sometimes needs to be whacked to get it to work. At least it seems be water-resistant. So the list of features I now know I need to look for-- Waterproof Not vibration sensitive Makes light and in an appropriate color Uses AA batteries Can be attached to my bike (recumbent tricycle) The first two seem like they should be universal, but......

The lights got my back !
The light Work. But there's a misconception, it says there's 5 LED lights. That's false there's three but because of reflectors in the unit it appears like it has 5 led. Overall its a good product
