Good shoes for ESD

These fit very well if you get the “wide” version. When using the Amazon search engine these shoes DO NOT come up. You literally have to type in the part number from Reebok to view these. When using the Amazon search engine only shoes with alloy, composite, or steel toes come up. This needs to be fixed. These appear to be very well built and have all day comfort so far. I will update in a few months.

NOT a safety toe shoe!

Description "Reebok Work Men's Sublite Work RB4015 Athletic Safety Shoe" is misleading. A safety shoe" is a shoe with a STELL or COMPOSITE toe. These are NOT a steel toe shoe like the Reebok RB4041 model! Got these by mistake. Excellent quality shoe and light weight. However, the end of tongue has a hard leather(?) covering that digs into my foot! Not good.

Extremely lightweight and your feet stay cool.

Working great so far. Three weeks in they are still passing the ESD test. A but tight and if I had to do it all over again I would have ordered one size larger. For the simple reason; to be able to slip them on and off without retying. BTW these are very cool to wear. And by cool I mean airy. When I walk I can feel cool air on top of my toes. Keep in mind this is a double edge sword. Thin equates to probably wont last long under adverse conditions. However, I work in a lab and dont use my feet to manipulate things so i expect them to last.\ I saw the pictures of the guy with his toes sticking out and its obvious he ordered two sizes two small and hes now mad. laughable.

This Not A Steel/Composite Toe Shoe... It's A Safety Shoe!

I was looking for a Steel/Composite Toe Shoe. In which I thought this was since my search inquiry landed me in a mix of Steel/Composite Toe Shoes and Safety Shoes ( Mostly Safety Shoes!) I blame myself, since I ordered this past the usual time I sleep (I had too get up early in morning.) The shoe fit Is pretty tight!!! I think that it's the tightest shoe shoe I have Ever put on in my life!... I have the laces off at the first eyelets. The insole are good. Word of warning... If you're a size say a 10 shoe size like I am; I recommend that you go a 1/2 or 1 size bigger. I ordered a 10 W Men's fit feels like a Regular 10 Men's and Not A Wide Shoe. I going too keep them because my other pair went south and these came in at the nick of time! The next pair that I order I'm going too make sure it's a Steel Toe Shoe.

Passes ESD tester after 10 minutes of wearing.

I work in the electronics industry and spend a lot of time in ESD safe areas. So far these shoes are working out much better than my previous pair. I'm only on day 2, but they pass the ESD after after wearing them for 5-10 minutes. They are a little stiff, but that should change once they get broken in. All in all, I would recommend them.

Hoping it gets better

I find that the right toe tip seems to dig into or puts pressure on my big toe, making it very uncomfortable. It’s almost like the cap of the toe is bent in on the right side. I find myself at my desk slipping my shoes off a lot cus of this plus both shoes feel kind of tight on my feet. I’m hoping it’s because they need some more break in time. In the meantime I am looking for another pair of safety shoes in case the issues I’m dealing with on this pair don’t quite down.

They're pretty comfortable.

Initially I would have given them 4 starts.. but after 4-5 months of use the souls are warn down smooth which is obviously dangerous in a shop/work environment. Also as others have stated they run about 1/2 size too small.. I wear size 9 but had to return the first pair I ordered in exchange for a size 9.5. They're pretty comfortable.. but I did also put in a pair of inserts for extra comfort. I you're ok with the soles wearing down in 4 months then these shoes should be ok... otherwise I would look for something else like I'm about to do.

Modelo sin casquillo cuidado

No especifica en ningun lado que es un zapato de seguridad sin casquillo ,tendre que regresarlo , estan padres el modelo y ligeros solo que especifiquen ese detalle para no gastar tiempo en esperar.

Calzado Antiestatica, ESD

Comodos, ligeros y cumplen su función como zapato Antiestática. Como todo zapato antiestática se ocupa traerlos puestos unos 20 minutos antes de usar el probador de estática.
