Way better than expected!

I paid only 5 dollars for this costume with prime shipping. I was hesitant and expected it to be cheap, possibly without even having the white "collar" since another reviewer mentioned that. I also expected it to have a draw string and open back like a hospital gown. Well, it is the best 5 dollar costume out there! The robe was thicker and longer than I expected (I'm 5' 10" 170 lbs and it fits well, goes all the way to my feet), and it DOES have the white priest "collar"-- see photos. Also it was not fully open back, which would have been bad. There is a draw string-- but only to tie up the 6" opening at the top/back that allows you to get your head through. Note-- there is NO CROSS as in the product image, you'll have to provide your own or buy that separately if so desired. So in a nutshell this was a great deal and will go perfect with my wife's "catholic school girl" costume >:--) Even if you don't want to dress as a priest, ANYONE looking for a CHEAP BLACK ROBE should order this and just cut off or use black marker on the white collar. Image Does Not Reflect Product

Considering most of the recognition of this costume comes from the collar, imagine my surprise when the robe arrived with different collar than pictured. Instead of a notch exposing white collar, it is a simple white cloth collar all the way around. Envision the collar of a simple white t-shirt poking out instead of a stiff tight collar. In no way does this look authentic. Additionally, the back, not shown, is a slit and tie that looks cheap (granted it is cheap, but purchasers should be aware). Expect to wear a black shirt underneath and need a way to hide those dangling strings.

Our Father !

I had so many people telling me I made a great Priest ! I made my own gold cross out of wood and a shoe string. Carried a bible, and I had people wanting confession !!

5'6" 190lb man

Bought this for my fiancé for Halloween. The quality was good, costume looked good on him (tho a lil long for a 5'6-5'7" man).
