Problem SOLVED!

If you are twenty-something with perfect arches and no foot issues, you might want to skip this review. If you are not, this is for you! So, it's been a log time since I could wear 5 inch spikes all day. A long time. I have lots of foot issues and I pretty much stick to flats nowadays so, when I do have to wear heels, it's just not good. None of them, even with ortho inserts and added padding, make my feet happy. Well, the days of dreading high-heel events are over! These shoes just ROCK. Amazing. When I think "Rockport", I think of elderly men's "sensible" shoes. Nope, not even close. These are totally stylish and look great. My size 9 has a four inch heel and a roughly half-inch concealed platform (completely concealed ... they are not visible at all). These are honestly "wear them all day" shoes. How do they DO this with a four inch heel ?!? Can't say enough about these ... high quality leather (real leather shoes are getting tough to find), toe not too pointy, heel high but sooo comfortable, no clomping sounds when you walk on hard floors, a very stable sole that is not at all slippery and a fine price too. I bought them in the only two colors they had in stock when I ordered (taupe and black). Both colors equally nice but the taupe is on the lighter side of what one would expect ... still neutral and great. Size seems to be dead on ... right width and length. If you are debating ... just Do It!

Not perfect out of the box

I wanted to like them, but they're just ok. Pros: The fit is as you would expect. I normally wear a 7 in closed toe shoes, and this one is no different. The color is a basic nude (if you are a white person) and the leather is nice. The heel is a good height for me. Cons: This shoe needs a LOT of "doctoring up" to make it work. So far, I've invested in a ball of foot cushion as well as an arch support. This makes it much better, but not totally comfortable. I will end up putting a gel strip in the back to prevent the heel from slipping. My foot tends to slide to the front of the shoe, which the ball of foot cushion helps to address, but not completely. I need to fool around with different foot products to get it dialed in.

Too long for me

I wanted to love the Seven to Seven 95mm Rockport pump. Instead of being my perfect nude pump it was just too big/long. I wear 8 1/2 in Rockport and my heel would not stay inside the shoe. From the side it looked like I was wearing my mother's too big shoes with 1/4 inch gap at my heel. On the other hand, they appeared well made and had nice cushioning/padding. My toes fit beautifully but my concern if I went down to a size 8 was having squished toes. I even placed a heel cushion inside the heel (without peeling off the tape) to check if that would fix the issue. Maybe two heel cushions? Perhaps, but I did not want to risk keeping them and still being unhappy with the fit. So sadly, I returned them. The search continues...

Toe box amazingly comfortable, but heel slips right out

The toe box was the most comfortable I have ever experienced in a high heel, but the heel is crazily big so as soon as I took a step my feet slipped right out. I ordered multiple sizes down, and that improved the heel a bit, but still not walkable. I'm really disappointed, because I was desperate for heels that don't make my toes throb in pain, I just wouldn't be able to keep them on my feet! Also, the heel is very high -- I think the description says 3 inches (which I have a hard time believing from the picture anyway), and by the time you get to a size 9-10 it's at least 4 inches, possibly more.

Good work shoes

For being pumps they're the most comfortable so far. But yes it's weird sizing, the toe-box area is snug, but the length is fine. I ordered a half size down. Glad I listened to the other reviewers saying to size down half a size. I should have gone wider though. I bought the taupe color but once I got it I think there's more pink to it. It's definitely not the grayish color on the picture. I still wear them to work all the time though and once broken in, they were fine. Next time I'd take them to a shoe repair man to stretch them out for me.

Different fit

I'm not sure if it's just inconsistent sizing or the 95mm heel is just that different from the 65mm heel but I found these too tight even though I'm a 9.5W in the 65mms and I had to return them. I had tried them on in store previously and I found the 10 too big and the 9 too small (the shop did not have a 9.5 for me to try). So either my feet just don't suit these or the sizes are a little inconsistent. Either way, if you get the right size, they really are lovely shoes; very well made with an extremely comfortable footbed. Personally, the heel height is a little high for me for an everyday work shoe.

Beautiful shoe with wildly inconsistent sizing and manufacturing

This shoe is beautiful and I desperately wanted it to work - I tried ordering it from at least 3 places - but for a given size, there's a huge variance in the size, leather texture, and shade. I tried an 8.5 W and a 8 W; the 8 was way too small, and the 8.5 had a visible gap at the heel so they'd slip off.

More Comfy Than Most Heels, Cute With Colorful Outfits

These are a good value. They are more comfortable than my other heels and reasonably cute. They look nice with my red dress or something else colorful. The color is a little pinkish nude, so they look odd with brown or neutral outfits. It took a day or two to break them in and since then, they have been reasonably comfortable for a typical work day when I am not walking and standing constantly.

All night dancing in these shoes

These shoes are very comfortable and are perfect for all-day or all-night wear. Cushioning is superb and they are very easy to walk in thanks to the platform. Quality seems great too.
