Color for read oak is extremely light

I'm wondering if my filler, labeled red oak, is actually the white oak filler? Even when used on a 2x4, the color is noticeably lighter than the wood. Of course, on the red oak flooring I was using it on it's dramatically lighter than I expected, and doesn't blend in at all.

The product is great.

Easy to use, great results! Just wish it could be packaged different, more packing would be helpful, product arrived in a cardboard box that It loosely rolled and shifted that the container partially opened and lost some filler. Otherwise completely happy with the product

very easy to work with , does a great job

Not the greatest for floors

This was easy to use but doesn't bond to the wood and ended up cracking within the cracks in the floor. Some of it cracked and got sucked up with the vacuum.

works well

I didn't use this filler for a floor. I used it for a wood projects, starting with a table made of pine and a red mahagony stain and found it worked well. The filler matched well with the lighter grains.

Worked perfectly

Worked very well. Only complaint is the kids were busted open a-little so it was very messy inside the box and to open.
