Nice quality, could use a few tweaks.

I really like this purse. I have many Sak brand purses. The reasons I didn’t not give this one 5 stars is because when you have the straps as a backpack and you have it on one shoulder the handle/leather strap slips through one side of the rings… which makes the straps uneven and rips chunks out of it… also it does not have a small pocked on the front of the flap. My other Sak backpack purse has that and a fixed handle at the top. The strap situation will be easily fixed by permanently making it like a back pack.. but if that’s not what you want.. you would prob want to find another way to keep the handle from Slipping through the rings. Otherwise it’s very well made, the leather is nice and beautiful, and the size is good to hold a lot but not so big it’s cumbersome.

Love the look but functionality? Not so much.

I purchased this backpack in brown and black. I really love the distressed look of the front of the bag. I don’t like that they used different leather for the back of the bag and fabric where I lift the flap. It’s kind of cheap looking. The snap on the flap doesn’t hold well when I have a bigger item inside the bag but it does have a zipper, too. The front pocket is open. It’s covered when the flap is closed but since the magnet doesn’t hold well and the bag falls over, everything spills out. The inside of the bag has a small zipper compartment, barely enough room to put dollars, with a little useless open compartment right behind it. It would have been better to have the interior of the bag split. Instead, it’s like a feed bag that turns into an abyss where I have to dig for stuff. The shoulder straps are kind of funky too. Like I said, I like the look of the leather but I think I’ll send the brown one back since I haven’t used it. I’m going to take the one I keep to my local shoe repair and have them put a stronger magnet in it and another one in the open front pocket. Or maybe I’ll just send it back.

The perfect bag doesn’t exist... oh wait...

I love this bag so much. I’m a mom of two small boys and this bag is so convenient to wear because it doesn’t get in the way! The pockets are perfect to carry all my necessities. If I’m grabbing my bag in a hurry, I love how I can wear it as a crossbody. In less than two seconds, I can west it as a backpack again. It’s a perfect transition. The design in the leather is beautiful. I receive compliments every time I leave the house with my bag. I highly recommend!!

Useless

Very deceptive photos. Every pouch/zipperd areas are so small. I purchased this for vacationing. I've lost my wallet, meds and a make up bag because nothing stays put and can fall out when bag is secured. The straps are terrible as well, if you adjust for purse/backpack they don't hold as soon as you carry. I have always loved Sak bags but regret keeping. I didn't L O V E when I received but didn't have enough time to replace. Shame on me

What's NOT to like!

The need to carry less in my bag now is greater than ever. It eliminates putting unnecessary weight on my shoulder by utilizing a pack back. Good quality leather and has plenty of compartments. It's great for daily, everyday wear and especially smart for traveling.

Excellent craftsmanship. Soft yet durable...and it looks good too.

This is a high quality genuine leather bag that can be carried as a shoulder bag or backpack. The leather is nice and soft. Stitching is well done and the interior is lined and has multiple pockets for organizing. My wife loved it and has been using it exclusively since she got it, in spite of the more expensive bags she owns.

Super cute yet classy and professional bag for a college student

This backpack fits folders, a Mac sized laptop, books, and whatever other accessories or small items needed. It really goes with most outfits and it double as either a hang down bag or a backpack. Super practical and cute.
